Miami is in BIG trouble they cleared their whole roster even giving away draft picks to have the cap space to sign 3 max players and even if they did the rest of their roster would be min salary players wade understands this and he might bolt for chi as a result. what will happen to miami roster wiith just two players will they shut down lol
The knicks did the same thing by giving away draft picks and players to get to this point but their cap situation was a disater when donnie took it over so maybe that was all he could do but its the main reason they won't get wade or lebron. they have to settle for amare
the bulls was smart they were able to clear cap space and get talent at the same time noah was the knicks draft pick how ironic was that and they got lucky to get the number 1 pick when they were not the worse team as a result i feel wade will go to them when you factor in family as well
the nets did the best job of all they made trades such as kidd for harris (they would not be in this situation without that move) also vince for lee, and getting rid of jefferson at the right time, but also drafted well in the last two years brook lopez fell to them and T. willliams and hopefully this draft also so they will get lebron.
cleveland has no second star, few assests and a bad cap situation the went from finals to eastern conference finals to second round its a downward trend with no end in sight, if lebron wanted to stay like pierce, dirk, joe johnson why wait long after all the interviews with every team are done if he agree with cle they could start to trade for talent.
In conclusion bosh has to choose btw wade and lebron and he will choose lebron because james is the better player and because the nets have a better chance to do a sign and trade with the raptors because of their draft picks and players so bosh can get his max money, that leaves carolos boozer to join wade in chi

Chicago is actually in a good position... New York is also going to improve by adding Amar'e... However, I don't know about Miami... First I thought that they were going to sign at least 2 out of the big 3 and now it seems like even Wade might be going to the Bulls...
You shouldn't feel sorry for NY

They are in a position to sign Bron or Wade to pair with Amar'e and will likely be able to sign another max next year. "Melo has already privately said he wants the Knicks, according to multiple sources.
James, Amar'e, 'Melo, Gallo, TD, Walker, Fields, Rautins, Jordan is a pretty good team, no?

Incorrect, unles the cap drastically goes up next year and the CBA stays similar.

It's a nice fantasy, too bad there's no chance it actually happens.

Actually OP, it is exactly the opposite of what you say. Knicks and Heat will be the big winners of this free agency and the Nets and Bulls the big losers.

If Lebron stays in Cleveland, they are the only winner in my mind.
Miami will be overrated as hell. No way they are able to fill out a roster that won't buckle in the playoffs.
Knicks will overpay for someone like they did with Amare. Raymond Felton or Jordan Farmar or someone of that nature won't be worth their contract. They'll be a second round out at best for the next 5 years. I guess, is some people's eyes, that makes them a winner since they're not good either, but still, they are not a championship contender.
Bulls are losers because they won't get any of the top tier guys. That hurts, but they'll be able to nab Boozer or something and be a 2nd round out as well. Again, I guess you couldn't make an argument that at least they're a playoff team the next 5 years...but they were a playoff team before they gutted their roster, so the fact they won't elevate to a championship contender makes them a loser.
Nets, maybe I'm too close to the situation, but I don't see us as bad of a loser as the other 3. Yes, we may end up striking out but a few things are facts:
1. We didn't overpay for any player
2. We didn't trade away important players/future picks
3. We have deals in place to do so but refused to pull the trigger until a big name guy gave us his word.
4. We hired a coach who actually coaches and have an ownership that has a realistic view of building a championship caliber team, even if that view is "continuing to rebuild the proper way through the draft, smart contract signings/trades
I think every other team made stupid decisions that mortgaged their futures or just wanted the spotlight. We basically came in with the mentality of "Look we'll do what it takes to put a championship caliber team around you. We have solid young talent, we have draft picks, and we have cap space...but we're not going to jeopardize those facts until we get your word." I'm proud our management didn't swoon all over these big guys. Yes I'd love to have one (or two) of them no doubt, but we approached free agency the correct way, and we're not screwed if we strike out.

Funny to look back at these things.
But to be fair...What Lebron, Wade and Bosh did was unprecedented. And instead of being hated for it...I have always said they deserve credit for taking less money. People can boo the stacked deck of that roster...I get that. But the men themselves put winning above stats, ego and most importantly the all mighty dollar which every fan taks about on these boards each off season only to see every single player before these guys take the money and run.
Heat will add veteran support players the next two years and as long as they are healthy will be an unstoppable dynasty for years to come. They could end up winning it all this year without support players.
Knicks entire gamble comes down to one thing. Can they turn Billups contract into a third superstar? If they can...they contend. If they cant...they are a playoff team going no where.
Nets are in a similar boat to the Knicks but with more tradeable assets. The thing is...once we convert them into a second true star...do we have a third? Or will Brook be eslewhere and we are exactly like the Knicks are right now with two?
And Bulls? Far exceeded what I thought they were this year. They can also win it all. As good as Rose is...he still doesnt seem to me to be on that extra level. Noah is a hard working roll guy, Boozer was a monu7mental dissapointment this year and Deng had a really strong year...but he is what he is. Hats off to that team. If they can add another key piece we are seeing a major rivalry in the east for years to come with the Heat.
For this year? I have only one thing to say. GO DALLAS! I am rooting hard for JKidd to get his ring.
