Wolves fan with a question.
I was just stopping by to ask you guys if now that all the top tier free agents are gone, and assuming the LeBron to heat rumors are true, if you guys are going to focus on the future or still trying to compete? Curious because if you were wanting to contend your team could be one of the teams that could make a nice package for Al Jefferson.

We're in a state of depression.
But to answer your question I don't know how well Jefferson and Lopez would work together so I'm not sure if I'd pull the trigger... At the very least the Nets would need to have another trade or signing lined up where they landed a star or quasi-star wing player.
I like the potential of some of the Nets wing players (Wililams, James, Lee) but am not fully comfortable with them in a win-now scenario which is what trading for Jefferson would necessitate.

No way should this team focus on the now. Unless the opportunity arises to get a bonafide top 10 player (if not top 5), a true #1...no way. The only deal I'd be interested in with the Wolves would be one that lands us maybe Rubio to further make the team younger and built for the future.

At this point, I'd consider a deal for Jefferson or Love. They're both better options than Tyrus Thomas at $7+mil per year. I wouldn't give up much for either of them though. If you're looking to dump Jefferson's contract I think we'd listen. If you're looking for some crazy package of young guys & picks, we'll pas.
