Bass for Lee?

I seen one of your guys "bloggers" idea that sent Courtney Lee back to Orlando and Brandon Bass to New Jersey.
I was just wondering if you guys would do this? Us Magic fans def love Courtney and could use his defense when going up against teams like Miami. You guys could def use Bass who could help on the boards and be a banger down low and also hit the mid range jumper CONSISTENTLY.

I like Courtney Lee but with Morrow and TWill, I dont see how they can all get playing time and Nets can use another PF to backup Favors or maybe even start if he isnt ready. I would do this trade and Im sure Courtney Lee and the would be happy with it too..Magic can use Lee to backup Vince because he is getting old. This makes both teams better being that Magic dont even play Bass that much

Lee is probably gonna sit on the bench..either him or TWill. Avery is not gonna go small. A trade should be made and Bass is not horrible..he is probably better than Humphries. I still would like Favors to start tho

I think I'm with you on this one. Bass is a chucker not the type of guy we need and he's undersized too. Don't rush into trades yet wait until the deadline because Lee has much better value then Bass. Injuries are going to happen and yeah maybe someone isn't getting alot of PT early but I'm not giving up on a 3rd year promising 2-way player for Bass. I'll stick with the logjam for now until something better comes along. We can find PT for guys
Harris/Farmar/T-WIll
Lee/Morrow/T-WIll
Outlaw/T-Will/James
Favors/Hump/James
Lopez/Petro
T-Will can find minutes at the 1 or 2 if someone goes down but until then he can backup Outlaw at the 3. He can backup at the 3 Avery he has the strength to do so (at least better then Morrow who you called a 2/3). James will be the odd man out early not T-Will or Lee. Let Favors start he may struggle at times but right now he is far and away the best option, forget Bass.

Trading for Bass would be a shortsighted move. I think it's also telling that wherever he goes people initially fall in love with him because of his energy and hustle but then hate him immensely when they realize he just won't stop shooting the ball / pass to the star players on the team.
If you think Humphries shot selection is bad Brandon Bass' is even worse.

Go hang yourself, seriously. If you give me Howard for Zoubek, i'll give you Bass for Lee. That Nets blogger should be executed along with you for putting much retardedness in people heads.

They don't need Lee. As a matter of fact if they keep Lee TWill who as of right now is our 3rd best player will be a 3rd string sg and 3rd string pg.
Now if they traded Lee for a pf then they have to play Williams and he willl play excellent and they will see how good he is.
Plus Anderson is the ultimate stretch 4. He averaged 8 points and 4 rebounds in only 14 minutes of play. Imagine he got 20 cause Kris shouldn't get much pt if any.

Maybe I'm a little biased because I was a big fan of Ryan Anderson, but I'd do Lee or Anderson. Anderson is exactly the kind of player we still need in our front court. We don't need to overspend for a guy like Troy Murphy or take on chucker Brandon Bass if we could nab a hustle player who has a high bball IQ and stretch the defense like Anderson. I would be fine with him starting to tell you the truth. He'd still only get like 20-25 minutes a game and not get all ants-in-the-pants when we put Favors on the court for development.
I miss that kid lol.

While I'd be the first to say that Lee isn't a starting SG anyway and should be traded to free up space for Twill, we would lose Lee as a potential trade piece for a star player, which I'm not sure if the Nets would want to do that. Plus, Lee has much more value than Bass does so I'd decline as well.

Why does everybody want to trade Lee so bad. He is a solid 2-way player. He is without a doubt the best option to start at SG we have right now. Why can't we just run with what we have there is enough time for everyone. If we lose Lee then we will be either hurting our perimeter defense (Morrow) or we will be losing shooting (T-Will) both of which are very important and Lee does both well.
1st unit
Harris - 33 min
Lee - 28 min
Outlaw - 28 min (5 at PF when the situation is right)
Favors - 25 min
Lopez - 33 min
2nd unit
Farmar - 15 min
Morrow - 20 min
T-Will - 25 min
Hump - 13 min
Petro - 20 min (some at PF)
If anybody goes down T-Will gains some extra backup time at the 1 or 2 (which is bound to happen). Look people we are fine right now we are 2 and 3 deep at each position which is a good thing. Let T-Will run the show for the second unit he can be the playmaker for the second unit. Farmar and morrow spotting up with Hump and Petro bangging the glass with T-Will creating for them. There is 48 min at each position lets go 2 deep at each position and run people out of the gym. James is the odd man out and Hump gets spot min here and there and we run 2 deep on all the wing spots. We will stay fresh, play good D, and get out and run.
Hell no the Bass or any other of the scrubs that keep coming up. The only way I make a trade is to bring in a stud/allstar, which Bass is not.

.
No one wants to trade Lee so bad that isnt what is being said.
The reaction is to a clear shortage among big men...and obvious extreme depth on the wing.
So? Most are doing the math and saying....we cant put Morrow/Lee and Twill in a magic machine that creates ONE great player with all their skills combined. So if we have to pick and chose...most would prefer to keep Twill and Morrow over Lee.
That's all you are reading. And since the thought right now is that the Nets are going to deal someone to land another big man....it will be a perimeter guy.
Now you get the question...IF the Nets do make a deal...who would you most prefer to keep...and who is at the bottom of your list. Not...who dont you like....its who are you most willing to deal as a fan.
