Nets:
Outgoing
Favors - 4.1
Harris - 8.9
Lee - 1.3
2011 first round pick
2012 first round pick
2012 GSW protected pick

Incoming
CP3 - 14.9
Josh Smith - 11.7

Starting Line up:

CP3/Farmar/Uzoh
Morrow/T-Will/Ross
Outlaw/James
Smith/Humphries
Lopez/Petro/Zoubek

Why?
This gives us a true Franchise Player and Also acquire a big that compliments BOTH CP3 and Lopez very well. The team is definitely not complete yet from the Wing position but atleast we know where we can build from. This also makes us a playoff team in the east.

Hornets:

Outgoing
Okafor - 11.4
Cp3 - 14.9
Posey - 6.4

Incoming
Favors - 4.1
Marvin - 7.2
Teague - 1.4
Pachulia - 4.2
Lee - 1.3
NJ 2012 1st Round Pick
NJ 2011 1st Round Pick
GSW 2012 1st Round Pick

Line Up

Collison/Teague
Lee/Thornton
Marvin/Peja/Wright
West/Songaila
Favors/Pachulia/Gray

Why?
If the Hornets are rebuilding, I believe this is the best value they can get. 3 future 1st round picks, Derrick Favors, Marvin Williams who never had a real oppurtunity and young talented role players. I don't see Orlando or the Knicks offering this much.

Atlanta:

Outgoing
Josh Smith - 11.7
Marvin Williams - 7.2
Jeff Teague - 1.4
Pachulia - 4.2

Incoming
Devin Harris - 8.9
Emeka Okafor - 11.4
James Posey - 6.2

Line Up:
Devin Harris/Bibby
Johnson/Crawford/Crawford
Posey/Evans
Horford/
Okafor/

Why?
This completes their starting line up. All they got to do is sign bigs in their line up like Shaq and Scalabrine to a minimum. This gives them a chance to compete in the east.

Don't see why Atlanta would make that trade. They could get a much better return for Josh Smith. As for the Hornets, who knows what direction they are going in.

Plus we trade all that to land a point gaurd who leaves our team when we switch to Brooklyn for our rivals in New York. That wouldn't be very smart.

I actually think Atlanta might do that. Im not entirely sure how they view Marvin Williams (ascending or descending) but Harris is a huge upgrade for them and a perfect compliment to JJ. Okafor would happily accept his role player status better then Smith, plus he allows them to move Horford to PF. Would love to see the economics of that move for them because if it frees up money for them to resign Horford next season I think it's a no-brainer since he is their building block and they are vulnerable to losing him.

Well right now everyone knows Atlanta wants to win and everyone knows they are stuck between 3-6 in the east and a second-first round exit team. If they want to move up they have get bigger and they need more talent. I feel that this is the best value they can get and BOTH Devin and Okafor are the perfect fit for this team. The only thing they are missing is an athletic small forward but James Posey should held his own and they can also go small and put Joe Johnson at the 3, and Crawford at the 2. They can also solve their post scoring problem by signing Shaq and sign scalabrine as stretch 4

Adding Posey, Harris and Okafor definately doesn't push them past anyone in the East IMO. But you never know till they play.

I dont think you made the Hawks better at all. That's the first thing.

Next, if the Hornets are rebuilding was your angle...and you sent them two contracts WORSE than Posey in Williams and Zaza.

Basically what you did...was get us the two best players in this deal...but didnt give the other teams enough of what they would covet. Which would be...

Hornets: instant cash savings, and cap relief long term..(btw...they are at 12 contracts and have to buy out two in this deal in top of the long term mess)

Hawks: Significant improvement. You didnt do that either. Still not better than Orlando, Heat or healthy Boston.

Would love this trade for the Nets. But its unfair to the other teams.
