Brandon Bass...

Post#1 » by mikhailjordan » Sun Aug 8, 2010 2:36 am

When I get the time this thread is going to be dedicated to me destroying Brandon Bass. If you are one of the Nets "fans" that wants this guy on the team please post what you are smoking below and why you think he should be on the team so that I can rip apart your argument.

JJ + Rich... Leave this open, trust me you will thank me when I finally get my post up.

I want Brandon Bass because he is the next Carlos Boozer, he's the complete opposite of a blackhole on offense; and look at that contract! Amazing value.

Is there even a pointof relevance to this? Are we looking at the guy? We have our big moosey in Petro...and we have 12 contracts plus 3 non guaranteed. We are talking about trading who for him?

There more year 4mil per? Would be surprised if we made a move for him anyway.

THat was for my benefit right? Because I didnt take the bait in the other thread? I admit...it would have been funnier if I had a meltdown over the Tub of Goo. So you go right ahead and bring the funny on this one. There is absolutely a poetry to us getting him.

But be careful. You could wake up a few years from now with David Kahn as the GM of the Brooklyn Baryshnikov's.

You know...you will look GREAT wearing a ushanka!

Hey! I think that I just came up with an awesome new piece of team merchandise! Someone get on it! I want to see a ushanka with a Nets logo ASAP!!!!! Mikhail....seems like a good job for you!!!

The point of relevance is that I have seen one too many Nets fans suggest that the Nets should trade for Brandon Bass and then have the audacity to try and defend their ludicrous position.

Lol. There is no crow unless he actually turns his career around. Until then...I was right. And the fact that he now reduced to THIS? I dont think I have anything to worry about. If he even makes the opening day roster it will be an accomplishement. If he does? It might be instead of Zoubek though. That other sexy stud we have laying around. Maybe they will let May wear that classy Tee-shirt of his under his suit at the end of the bench.

So what do you think JJ? The career turnaround? or his last stop before he heads to to Team Tel Aviv.
