I think if we trade for Carmelo we should trade for billups. Below is a trade proposal. I havent included picks but that could be figured out later.

um this will prb never happen. i dont think i would do this trade.
but Damn! this would be a great deal for the Magic. they get a highly touted young player in T will and a good young player in Damion James for Brandon Bass.

I think this trade might be more realistic... we would probably have to throw in 1 or 2 first rounders too but i think it would be worth it

Knick fan here. You Nets fans are crazy if you think your getting melo, much less Melo and Billups. If would take more then your whole team to get melo, much less Melo and Billups. Stop drinking the swamp water. You have nothing to match Gallo or the talent of Randolph. And you won 12 games last year. You trade your team for Melo and you will still only win 15 games..hahaha

Gallo sucks, yes he sucks, one of the most inefficient young players of the 08 draft. Just a straight up chucker. Randolph is a tweener that was traded as filler for a David Lee S&T. I love how stupid most Knicks fans are.

Enjoy you getting waived, and any other accounts you may have.

I thought I was watching Danilo Gallinari once but it turns out that I was watching Kyle Korver. The tell tale difference ended up being that Kyle Korver made a good defensive play.

Like I said before, good luck trading or TRYING to trade YOUR WHOLE TEAM for Melo. You wish you had young talents like Gallo, AR, and Chandler. You call Knicks fans stupid. You won 12 games with your so called " young talent ". And nobody will sign there. Boozer used you and forgot about you.

Please ignore John Starks. He can barely speak English and there is a very high chance he is (Please Use More Appropriate Word). He is having trouble filling his mustache and is only looking for a friend. He is a very nice boy who is having some trouble with his team. He's confused at why Lebron will not be playing dozens of games in MSG now and why the Knicks are stuck with Shareef Abdur-Rahim part deux, the worst starting PG in the NBA, and an Italian basketball player who carries Brook Lopez's luggage.
Thanks,

Wow, I guess I hit a nerve with the Nets fans.

So Gallo carries Lopez's bags? Really now? After your 12 win no free agent season, don't you think it is lucky your still regarded as an NBA franchise? With any bags to be carried?

Good point John. Gallo isn't strong enough to carry Brook's bags by himself, so Gallo AND Mozgov have to carry Brook's bags.

I have to wonder what is in those bags of Lopez to need 2 guys to carry them.

You know what? I will be nice and give some advise. I think the Nets should not trade for Carmelo. Stick with your young players and let them develop. Once you get to Brooklyn, you should be good enough to compete for a playoff spot. Keep all salary cap space for then.
See, even a Knick fan can be nice and lend a hand, or carry some bags.

Magic fan here. Sorry I just had to jump in on this Knicks fan/troll. The Knicks will be Lucky to win more than 41 games this year, will struggle to be anything more than an 8th seed and after the new CBA will be financially screwed by overpaying Amare Stoudamire with out ever making it out of the 1st round of the playoffs for the duration of his contract. Melo is there last hope, I hope he goes to New Jersey just so I dont have to hear all the nonsense on how Amare+Melo is better than Heat, Lakers, Magic, Bulls and Thunder.

It's a shame that a screen name like John Starks will go to waste on a guy that'll be waived by his 120th post. A real Knix fan, that could at least troll with some wit could have used it...

if the Nets have nothing, and the Knicks are great, then why are there numerous reports that the Nuggets have told the Knicks that they have nothing they are interested in. yet the Nuggets are reportedly willing to discuss a deal with the Nets?
