Before I start, let me explain a couple of things about my projected stats. One, as a Nets fan, I'm inherently biased, and my projections may very well appear overly optimistic. That is part of the reason I decided to get some feedback on these averages. I also wanted to have a public reference, in case I'm right!

Two, no team ever goes through an entire season where every player suits up for every game, so team averages will always be less than the sum of player averages. For example, the Nets as a team averaged 92ppg last season, but the sum of the top ten scorers' averages alone was 107ppg.

Anyway, let me know what you think. I'm open to criticism (and praise! ), so please form a rational argument whether you agree or disagree. Go Nets!

Yes, I know, it is somewhat unrealistic to project Devin getting the coach's nod over Pierce. What can I say, I have faith that the reunion with Avery will bring the best out of The Blur. Paul's team will be significantly better than us this year, but I think The Truth's numbers will continue to decline. The Big Three's supporting cast is better than ever, and 16/4/3/1/0 just isn't All-Star material, IMO. It also helps DH's chances that some others vying for that 12th All-Star spot are playing in situations that may cap their production (Wall/Arenas, Iguodala/Turner, Wallace/Jackson, Smith/Horford).

I don't list Duncan as a C in my personal rankings, but he's likely to demand to be listed as on on the All-Star ballot. If Yao Ming can't even play start's minutes, and China votes him in as a starter anyway, it will be an unmitigated embarrassment for the league. I'm going out on a limb by assuming that this won't happen, so don't let me down, 1.3 billion people!

Overall, I think you're predictions for stats and All-Stars are generally very realistic! Here are a couple things that I disagree with:

1. Brook Lopez doesn't have a chance of averaging 3.6 TO per game. He averaged "only" 2.5 last year, and with less double and triple teams, his turnover numbers will probably go down if anything. I'm predicting more along the lines of 2.1-2.3 TO per game.

2. I think Farmar will get more than 19 MPG of playing time. Although the shooters surrounding Harris will give him more of a driving lane, he is still going to need his rest and Farmar is going to want more playing time than that. I'm predicting more along the lines of 30-33 MPG for Harris and 23-25 MPG for Farmar.

3. Why is Morrow's 3 point percentage dropping so drastically? After shooting 46% for his career with GS, there is no reason why it should drop below 40%. He'll stay at his 46% clip that he has been at.

As for your All-Star predictions, in the East, I don't think Granger will be on the team. Instead, Gerald Wallace is much more likely to be sitting on the pine. I do think Harris is a possibility, and since I'm a Nets fan, I'll say that he makes it. In the West, Durant should be starting, no doubt. He is much more exciting of a player to watch on an exciting team. There is no way that Marc Gasol is going to make the team, especially with Yao playing minutes again, and China still birthing billions of children per minute.

I can't really argue against most of your predictions, with the exception of Devin.
Assist #'s are a little too high and his 3pt % no way that high.

The All Star stuff, I need to actually look and see as to who I think compared to your bench, but the starters I agree with.

wow Avery wins coach of the year for a 40 win season, I dont care how big of a turn around that is, he still wouldnt get my vote pulling off a 8th seed...needs to do better than that, at least a winning season and maybe the 5-6th seed to be seriously considered for COY...

I meant at least 40 wins but yea if Nets make the playoffs after winning 12 games, he will get Coach of the Year
