With Murphy resting a minor injury, it has been humphries playing with the starting unit in practice thus far while favors has been out there with the second team.

Does anyone else find this to be a cause for concern?

Where are you reading this? And im already a little concerned having troy murphy as our best PF, so with him going down..... i dont want to think about it. How can they not give Favors the starting position? The Nets arent competing for a championship this year, let him play and get experience.

I'd relax. We are talking about the first week of training camp. Murphy is due back on Monday. I don't think it's that out of line that Kris Humphries is ahead of Favors for the time being. By all indications Avery is willing to give Favors every possible chance to prove himself.

Since when should someone be concerned that a veteran is starting over a 18 year old lotto pick who everyone said was raw from the beginning during the first week of preseason?

Let's not go crazy guys.

Really!!

Worried about something we knew this was going to happen. Favors wasnt going to be a starter until after the season started or unless Favors proved how good he was to avery. If Murphy is still hurt and favors plays great during pre season, I think Favors starts over Humphreys. JUST like Lopez didnt start until Boone got hurt even though I thought Frank was being an idiot for not starting him.

I wasnt going crazy I was just putting out my opinion I wasnt flipping out about it. Im just saying if this kids gonna be the future of the team why bench him for some bum veteran? Let the kid play and gain some in game experience. Hes not gonna learn how to play PF by watching Murph, and if he does well then God help us all.....
