Preseason game number three for the New Jersey Nets.

Played at Prudential Center, Newark, NJ.

Finally a game we'll be able to watch on TV.
Broadcasted by YES, NBA TV and CSN-NE (Tom Heinsohn sucks!)

What I always loved about that cover was how it said "Champs by 2001," and with in two/three months, Sam Cassell is traded, and then even a year after that they won the lottery. Dime Magazine: An everyday soothsayer.

Derek Anderson getting props on the cover too.
He was a guy I always thought was going to be a great player, but injuries, bad situations and an overall lack of passion lead him to a very mediocre career, mainly the injuries though.

You see that difficult little turn around leaner Brook made? The kid has a very nice touch. I don't ever want to see a posession like the one I saw of running up the court, passing it to Morrow, and Morrow taking a contested 3 with 21 seconds left on the shot clock, I don't care how good your shooting is. Look what that triggered, a long rebound, and easy two points for the Celtics. If we want to play defense we also have to play smart offense, gtfo with that sh*t.

T-Will looks fluid.
Lopez looks like he is going to have a breakout season.
Favors fouls a lot.
Favors is fast and active.

Good 1st quarter, Lopez beasted it. I don't like T.Will to get too happy shooting jumpers, but at least he made most of them.

Favors might still have the jitters?
