Hi Guys, just wanted to ask a question about Damion James. Am I the only one surprised by his lack of playing time in the last games? He recorded one DNP-CD and two games with 5 or less minutes on the court. I actually thought he was going to contribute right away and become an Avery's favourit, I apparently was wrong. I was really impressed by him during Summer League.. any thoughts?

Typical rookie situation so far... Hasn't earned anything yet, is behind a couple of other guys on the depth chart.

Eventually he'll get a shot but nothing to be worried about right now.

Damian James will get his chance but right now he's behind Outlaw, TWill, and Graham on the wing. Graham hitting the game winner didnt help James either..but he just has to stay ready..its a long season and he will get his opportunity

That's what I was saying.. it's more than normal if Outlaw stays on the court to get into the team chemistry, he's the starter and his contract is huge. But behind a very a limited player like S.Graham.. I dunno, maybe he's doing too many rookie mistakes in practice.

Apparently he sucks just like all the other new additions the Nets made to their team.

And you guys cant be serious if you think Graham is ahead of him in the rotation because he hit ONE shot. One shot, game winner or not doesn't guarantee you anything. James just has not out played Graham in Averys mind which is a really, really sad thing, it has nothing to do with that 1 shot.

Like I called prior to the Avery signing. Avery is going to find one scrub and make him his butt buddy. Turns out that scrub is Stephen Graham.

Thats my point. What did hitting that game winner get him? 13th, 14th man for Utah? I'm ok with Graham being that, i'm not ok with him being THE backup SF.
