howard measured at 6'10 240 while Favors was 6'10 245 and Favors also benched twice as more and Howard did at the combine. They had the same exact vertical and everything else was almost identical. The scary thing is Favors is much more skilled than Howard was the same stage.

Howard came out of HS. You're also missing many other categories and just mention a tiny difference in measurements and strength. Do you even have a link to support this?

Yeah, maybe on their respective draft days Favors in '10 was better than Howard in '04, (which I can't say for sure since I didn't watch him that closely back then). But if you're comparing them right now, then I don't know what to say but ...

im not comparing them now that would be silly, im comparing them by there combine numbers, favors was > then howard. If favors developes he can be just as good imo

I think Favors had a bit more muscle than Dwight heading into the combine because of that year in college. Other than the "strength" argument, Howard had the superior measurements overall. Favors has a load of potential but I think there's a very very slim chance he turns into what Dwight is right now.

Also, you should change the topic title as it's wrong, even in the case of the combine and this just seems like the type of topics Knicks fan make when they're overrating their own players. I swear I saw "Fields = B.roy" thread the other day and just shook my head. This, might be worse.

On a side note, Favors along with Hakim Warrick is leadng the league in dunks at 13. This is usually a stat Dwight tends to dominate. Although Dwight only has 8 at the moment.
