It's about that time again.
A special time of year.
There's something in the air.
What is it you ask?
Why it's the intoxicating scent of tank wafting past your nostrils!

Things aren't looking so up for this season, although it's certainly way too early to give up hope, but at the same time, you guys know where I stand on the situation anyway and a bad record rewards us with a high lottery pick and another chance at a franchise player and young guy to add to our future.

The college season is almost in full swing and this is where we'll keep track of our favorite prospects, no matter where it looks like we're drafting next year.

So with out further ado, I'm opening this up with no other then...

This kid is gonna be the real deal. I don't know he'll ever be as good as Chris Paul or even Deron Williams, but if those two stay healthy and this kid is as good as I think he is, he'll be #3 right behind them by his 3rd or 4th season in the league, ahead of guys like Rondo, Rose, Wall and Steph Curry, who are considered by most to be the obvious candidates to take those slots, if not surpass Paul and Deron.

BTW, Duke vs Marquette is on ESPN2 right now.

Vander Blue is an interesting player to keep tabs on as well, although I doubt he's a one and done and likely not an early pick either, but interesting none the less.

Second rounder? I like his NBA prospects better than I do his college ones. Will likely have to make his mark as a defender as shooting is suspect.

Long arms (no homo / vc4pres Kyrie).

The only prospects I know are Barnes and Irving and that's it.

They need to come together and put the kibosh on this looming lockout ASAP, I will not have our draft sabotaged by the likes of this garbage! :x

And those are the only names you need to know.

So untrue.

Terrence Jones is a bad man.

Perry Jones is a top prospect.

Alec Burks is awesome on offense...

Brandon Knight is a nice player/prospect.

Jarred Sullinger is going to be big time.

Watch out of for Cory Joseph, Triston Thompson, Kemba Walker, Vander Blue, Dion Waiters, Enes Kanter, Elias Harris, William Buford, the list goes on.

This is going to be a good year for college basketball, hopefully the lockout is solved before the draft or a lot of talented underclassmen are going to wait a year.

^^You took me way too seriously. I was just kidding. There are a ton of NCAA/international players that we should be paying attention too.

Enes Kanter is a monster but we probably won't see him because of his NCAA eligibility issues for receiving funds while playing.

I watch the Duke vs Oregon game and Irving looked pretty impressive from what I say. Great handles, can shoot, and makes the right pass. I'll have to see more in a competitive game though.
