Its too bad were 28th in ppg or else we would be good. I believe its more of a result of our pace than how good our defense is.

We need players who can create for themselves, as well as facilitators. We may have the best shooters this team has seen in years, but we greatly need the contributions Kidd & Carter used to provide...

its shows Avery's defensive system is working, to a certain extent...he made sure he mentioned this before the Hawks game I believe stating we were 5th in the league in pts allowed...obviously a good thing, but like jeff said, our offense needs to be that much better, for us to really benefit from this...but we are playing the good teams well for the most part...staying close with good teams in this leauge gets you respect, brings your team together and really elevates the overall play, consistency-wise...its nice to see hard fought games, and the ability to keep the opposition close in games, even though we may end up losing them...
