LOL wow, Gallo does kinda look like Paulie D. I will hand it to you....this is a funny ass game thread.

I gotta ask though, if Felton was our "Plan K" in free agency, what were Morrow, Petro, Outlaw and Farmar for the Nets? Plan....tar fasciitis?

First of all.

Morrow = Bargain free agent signing
Farmar = Average backup point guard signed to average contract for backup point guards
Petro = Average backup center signed to average contract for backup centers (and I must add that he's SIGNIFICANTLY better than Timofey Mozgov)

So those are 3 signings you can't criticize.

Outlaw on the other hand... Was a fail of epic proportions.

Wow, so many joints to choose from out of NY! I feel like I'll never be satisfied with my pick, so I'm going with the three that immediately came to mind, both a little obscure, but they fit the theme.

Here you go Jeff.

Doesn't matter how reasonable each of those contracts are...the fact of the matter is that the Knicks and Nets both spent their cap space this summer and neither of them were able to land LeBron who was everyone's "Plan A". Yet, the Knicks still wound up with a bona fide star in Amare and a difference maker at PG in Felton, and the Nets are left with a bunch of average (at best) players who haven't done much of anything for you and probably never will. And to say that Petro is SIGNIFICANTLY better than Mozgov is almost funny if I didn't think you were serious. Petro is exactly what you said he is- an average backup center, while Mozgov is a legit prospect with a lot of potential who is lacking experience more than anything else. You just haven't seen him play enough.

Anyway, not trying to have a pissing contest or a flame war here. It's all in good fun/competitive nature. I just couldn't help but hit you guys with a few jabs since the OP did the Knicks so dirty  . Def one of the funniest game threads I've ever seen. Should be fun tonight.

Correction. The Knicks overpaid for a star who's long-term health outlook is not good.

Mozgov is about 6 months younger than Petro and has had quite a bit of seasoning overaseas, if he's a legitimate prospect than you have to say Petro is as well. The difference of course being that Petro is a more efficient scorer, can actually defend at the NBA level, and is not a walking turnover a la Mozgov.

Good ole' Timofey Mozgov is averaging 1.4 TO in 12 minutes a game, which might not seem too bad until you do a little researching and realize that his TOV% (turnover percentage) is HISTORICALLY BAD.

Right now Mozgov ranks 23rd worst ALL-TIME in TOV% of players who have played at least 17 games in a NBA season.

Face the facts. Mozgov = Stiff.

Is Truth Serum the dude that said Felton is better then Derrick Rose early in the season, or was that Stutter Step?

Thinking about it as typing, pretty sure that was Stutter Step. Wow.
