No, please tell me you didnt..... yes you did. RUBIO??? Rubio is the most overrated piece of trash basketball player I have seen since Sam Bowie. I could do a better job running the point than that kid. And im dead serious, any place any time I would take him one on one. Id give my soul to the devil if I lost to him as part of the bet. Id rather trade Lopez for CJ Watson before I traded Avery Johnsons used socks for Ricky Rubio. Oh and like jeff1624 said, Harris isnt a SG.

On a more positive note, I would like to see Irving suit up for the Nets behind Harris.

The lateral quickness of this kid is ridiculous. He reminds of CP3 in the sense that he is not the fastest PG but because he's supremely quick with his hands and has great ballhandling, he can pick apart your defense. I can already see that kid being a great NBA PG.

Forget Irving. We need Harrison Barnes at SF, he is already an All-American and the dude hasn't played yet.

I would love having Kyrie on this team, but I just don't see him dropping. Teams are gonna be jumping on this PG. I've seen him because I live in NJ and he's a cool guy actually, his skills are off the charts and he's going to be be better than Westbrook IMO.

Irving is probably going to go top 3.

He wouldn't suit up behind Harris, he would start and Harris would immediately be traded.

No hate, I really don't see why NJ fans feel he is in the same airspace as immediate franchise guys like Derrick Rose and John Wall. He could be Kenny Anderson; that's his ceiling, IMO. He also could be Jeff Teague, who hasn't yet stolen the starting Hawks' PG job away from Bibby.

I'm not high on the 2011 draft overall, but I'd much rather have Harrison Jordan Barnes, Perry Jones, Enes Kanter or even Jared Sullinger.

I'm a Harrison Barnes backer. We need a dominant wing player on this team.

Highlights really aren't accurate, especially when it comes to PGs. I need to really see this kid to see his true impact on the game, and just how good he really is.

Very true. But, the kid is going to play for coach K (Like I'm gonna try spelling that name. Leave that for the final round of the bee.) so you know he'll be learning from one of the best basketball teachers of all time.

I haven't seen much of this class yet, but Irving and Perry Jones definitely have me curious.

Maybe we need to rename this thread "Thoughts on Kyrie Irving" since the current name is too generic. Instead of working like I should have been doing, I've been looking at the early draft rankings and watching Youtube videos of a lot of these players. IMO, Kyrie and Harrison Barnes are neck and neck but if you ask me who I'd rather have, give me Kyrie. He just reminds me of CP3 too much!!

I'm starting to think that we need to evaluate where we are by the trade deadline and if there's no shot at the playoffs, don't trade for anyone. Let us continue to coast to high draft pick (hopefully 1-4 and get this kid). Unfortunately, depending on the needs of the teams, he might just go #2 no matter what.

Just imagine how Kyrie could work with Favors!
