It depends who you talk to. Most people have said that whenever ownership of a team changes hands, no deals get done in fairness to the new owners. The new owners get the franchise (including all of the players) that were there when they put up a bid to buy the team. On the other hand, I have heard a few reports that the NBA buying the team, would make CP3 more available. But I kinda doubt the logic for those arguments. So IMO, CP3 is probably off hands for sure but I don't think that will stop GMs from calling.

Until a "real" owner is found I doubt the Hornets move any of their meaningful pieces.

Wouldnt lowing the salaries be more attractive to a New Owner?

Dont forget Stern wants Brooklyn to succeed. He needs the NY market to be better.

Harris and pick(s) for Paul would be good. Regardless of how bad Paul's knees are I would rather have him the Harris. I am tired of harris.

How does a PG on a 4 on 2/3 fast break not pass the ball to a player on the wing? Instead he tries to take it by himself with 2/3 defenders on him.

Owners do this all of the time because they believe that they can turn the franchise around usually by moving them to a new location. Hmmm...I wonder who has done this recently? Oh that's right, the Nets!

Ratner got the Nets when we were losing tons of money each year but his vision was to move them to an area that would turn a profit and succeed. That's why they're (unfortunately) moving from our home state to Brooklyn.

No owner wants the NBA to sell all of the players on their roster for nothing (especially top tier talent) since no one would come to see their games. I want Paul too but I doubt this transition makes him more available now compared to before.

Actually what I was saying is when you lowering expenses. I didnt say anything about getting trash. We traded Kidd (hefty contract for Harris) before new ownership came in. Proky got this team with a lot of cap room and draft picks. Dangling Paul can also mean getting rid of other bad contracts.

Sorry but there is NO excuse. There was one game it was a 2 on 1 with Favors on his wing. A simple pass would have had Favors with a power slam, but Harris decided to attack the rim himself. That simple play would have given the rookie some confidence that he did the right thing RAN the FLOOR. That is what a True Leader does. Rally the troops. A PG's role is to be the FLOOR GENERAL. Make your teammates better. Direct the offense. If you dont trust your teammates you shouldnt be a PG. Go ask Starbury - ALL ALONE. Clearly he was the common denominator why players around him were always bad.

I'm sure he's doing it under strict orders by Avery. He knows none of wingmen can finish so he encourages Harris to finish the play on his own.
