Morrow Not In the 3Pt Competition

Can someone seriously explain this to me?

If I was Billy King and Yormack, I'd actually put out a press release complaining about this.

He already has enough 3pointers this season to quality and is a better percentage than Durant, James Jones and Dorrell Wright. Not to mention he presently has the best career 3pt % in NBA history. I actually thought the NBA was gonna put him in the contest this year for passing on him last year. Check out YouTube, there is a video on there somewhere of him trying to prove his case to be in the competition...he drained 23 of 25 (including all money balls).

Yes I knock the guy for his ability to shoot well off screens, but damn are you kidding me? This guy is automatic from a set shot position.

This is complete and total bulls :x t. Who the f :( k is James Jones?

There is no reason for Morrow to get burnt by the league like this. What did he do besides score the most points by a rookie in his first start ever, and he was undrafted at that.

Morrow deserves better. The fans deserve the best, and that is Morrow.

I'm not even a Nets fan, but wow.

Wow what a **** joke.

1st place in NBA History 3 point percentage...and he wanted to be in it, and he doesn't get selected?

The NBA is even more of a joke than I thought.

Yeah this is some bull ****.

The 3 point competition is like one of the only good parts left out of All Star weekend and this guy really deserved it, I mean are they really rewarding players based off team record for the 3 point competition?

Eh, whatever, he'll be in there eventually.

Same thing happened last year when he was on the Warriors, and Warriors fans campaigned pretty decently for it. Steph Curry even offered to give Morrow his spot if he could, saying something like "he always wins in practice," but David Stern wouldn't guarantee Morrow would be selected if Curry declined. It's a David Stern issue.

I love KD, but him and pierce shouldn't be in there. They need to let in only pure 3 point shooters, not scorers. This is really annoying and stupid though. Shouldn't say this but hopefully one of the other contestants get injured. Then again, they'll probably select freaking lebron or josh smith or some BS.

It could be that Morrow lost a bet to Stern and the wager was a qdoba gift card, which Morrow never coughed up. Anyone know anything about that? Maybe the OP knows something........ Im not mad though.

Youre right, but youre wrong. In my opinion KD is the best player in the league. But he plays in such a small market that he doesnt get as much spotlight as LBJ, Melo, Howard and the other big stars. Giving KD the chance to play in more events in the all star game gives him more exposure, hence more viewers and more money for the NBA.

Its debatable, but neither is easily better than the other. Durant has such a natural flow in his game that is unmatched by anyone which makes him unstoppable. Lebron is just a crazy athlete that can do it all which makes him unstoppable. Kobe has the ability to take over the game whenever he wants too, much like MJ did. I would take KD and Kobe over LBJ right now, but not by much.

No, not really.

He's about the 6xth or 7th best player in the league.
