Its been a roller coaster of rumors and hearsay the entire season and multiple deals have been discussed but Im just wondering at this point if an impact move will be made by us and if you guys even want to make a move this season.

*Crosses fingers and hopes Nets sign Adam Morrison.*
You can never have too much championship experience on one team.

Getting rid of Outlaw's putrid contract makes the most impact move for me..

According to Netsdaily, we've been trying HARD to move both Murphy and Outlaw with no takers.
With Outlaw we no our options are limited. We will NEVER get a great deal for that damn contract. It's basically going to be a "Hey let me have your bad contract and I'll give you my equally bad contract" kind of deal where both teams involved just hope a change of scenary will help.
I'm surprised Phoenix isn't interested in a Childress/Outlaw swap of some kind. I think Outlaw fits the mold of the kind of player they'd want. They both are in similar contracts. I'd even throw a future 2nd and cash at them to try to sweeten the pot because I think Childress has more upside.
I'm kind of sad that about this entire situation though because I actually liked Outlaw. I thought the kid had an almost automatic midrange game and is long enough that he could get his shot off on most SF's or quick enough to beat a PF guarding him. His whole situation kind of confuses me because I actually think Avery's offesive caters to a guy like Outlaw. His jumpshot is just nonexistant 9 1/2 games out of 10. Everyone's quick to jump on the Avery-hatin bandwagon, but I'm putting some of this blame on Outlaw too. He has the tools to excel in this offense but it just isn't working for some reason. I just don't get it. To be honest, I feel if we had a true #1 scorer, we wouldn't be having a lot of the problems our players are going through. But maybe that's just me.
As for Murphy, the Netsdaily article said he's gonna get bought out and I figured that would happen. A lot of playoff teams want him I'm sure, but they aren't in serious need for him to the point they'd give up a player/assets to get the salaries to match this season. All of them are willing to take the gamble on potentially missing out on him in free agency. I know the Nets did say they'd be willing to take on a guy under contract for next season too for Murphy if that team wanted to be a player this free agency or something. I really thought that could have been a distinct possibility but I guess it's not at this point. I still think he has a 40% chance of getting traaded within the next 8 days because a lot can happen by then, but I'm starting to thing he's just gonna get bought out.

Its really sad what Melo and his agent has done to you guys jerking you around. I believe he will now go to NYK with Gallinari and Minn 2011 1st included along with Felton and Wilson Chandler coming back to Denver. BUT this maybe a blessing to you guys if you act quickly before Thursday.
Keep Derrick Favors ,Kris Humpries, Brook Lopez,Sasha , Anthony
Bundle Harris with Outlaw and a 1st and fillers for prybzilla/miller
Bundle Troy Murphy with another 1st for Gerald Wallace
Keep your other 2 low 2011 draft picks for another young center and point
Start
Lopez
Favors
Wallace
Anthony
Miller

To be honest, if we moved Outlaws contract to anyone for a slightly less worthless player and moved Murphy for a player who won't be inactive every game, I will consider us a winner at the deadline even though (Please Use More Appropriate Word) media people will call us the biggest losers at the deadline.
Harris is gone by Thursday no matter what though. That's why I haven't mentioned him. We should just tell him to fly to Portland now. That is fact. If we don't he's gonna play like a kid who dropped his ice cream cone the rest of the year.
