I'm pretty sure the Nets hompage is gonna stream it. If not it'll be on WFAN.

Loved what Avery said right there.

One of the first times I was behind what he said 110%.

Yeah not too classy at all from Avery. It will be interesting to see how Avery and Deron get along seeing that Deron is a bit more of a loose cannon than Devin will ever be.

Deron does seem comfortable and optimistic about the move, so hopefully the Nets can surround him with some good players and move forward. I would love to see both the Nets and the Knicks battle and have some epic matchups in the future! Been too long since the NJ/NY area has had something to be excited about. Let's enjoy it.

#1 thing I can take from this press conference is Billy King probably thinks Tyler Perry sitcoms are hilarious.

What did Avery Johnson say about Devin Harris?

Weird triple post, it didn't even come three in a row.

WTF was wrong with RealGM's servers there for a minute? Crashing left and right. High traffic I guess, you would figure a site like this would be prepared for the rush though.

Maybe I should've used a bigger font size, since everybody apparently watched the conference and yet nobody answered my question:

What did Avery Johnson say about Devin Harris?

^I was in a deposition, I didn't watch it. What did he say, Vince?

Oh, and while I'm interrogating you guys, how is Derrick Favors? I see that his numbers aren't much this year, but neither was his playing time.

Raw. Great potential is there, but he is so young that, quite honestly, I wouldn't expect to see his top five pick worth until the 2012-2013 season. He'll be a defensive beast, both man and help, if he has as high of a motor as he did during the Knicks game (where he had like 2 or 3 spectacular blocks), he just has to learn how to finish on the offensive end.

 sorry about that.

He didn't specifically mention Devin Harris, but seeing as how Avery has only coached one other PG throughout his career and that was for only a couple months in J-Kidd I'm pretty sure him saying that 'he was extremely excited because he has have never had a PG with Deron's ability and talents play for him before' was a dig at the former Net. He said it so emphatically as if he was trying to make a point. I didn't care for that comment at all.

Thanks for the response. Ehh, sounds like maybe Avery and Devin Harris didn't get along. But he has a point though. At the end of close games in particular, you'll feel very comfortable with Deron Williams bringing the ball up the court. He's got a certain swagger to him that convinces you that he's going to come through.

If he stays with you guys, expect to be a solid playoff team for years to come. In my opinion, Deron is a much more valuable player than Carmelo. Carmelo can score, but he's a ball stopper and as a result his teammates usually don't benefit from his scoring threat. Also, there's that whole defense thing that he hasn't gotten figured out yet. Deron will make everybody else around him much better. You'll notice the difference quickly.

Thanks. Honestly, the Jazz haven't ever really had a player like Derrick Favors, but he's exactly what the team has needed for awhile. I'm excited to see his career develop here in Utah.
