Speedy's Take:
After allowing 123 points in 52% shooting to the Houston Rockets, how will New Jersey's reeling defense contain Steve Nash and the 4th best offense in the NBA? The Prudential Center crowd, bolstered by the first home appearance of newly acquired point guard Deron Williams hopes to assist the Nets in getting their first win since the All-Star break.

Forget all that fancy stuff, lets talk Nets basketball. Morrow back in the starting lineup. Lets get a win.

Not holding my breathe for a win but hoping the team and arena has some energy, especially on the defensive end and on the break. Would love to see Brook have a big game and someone bring some energy off the bench. Anyone know if Wright is active?

Lmao...I figure everyone would be going to the game, so as the designated out-of-towner, I decided to make the gamethread.

I'm really starting to dislike Vujacic. He's useless if he isn't hitting the long jumpers, which just happens to be 80% of the time.

wow. If Outlaw keeps scoring like this we should only pass him the ball when he's cutting to the basket, because his shot just sucks.

Virtue of being tall, young, and somewhat athletic? Must be nice. I'd be a millionaire by now if I was at least 6'10.

Man Morrow really benefits from D-Will on this team. Deron knows where and when to get him the ball, I love it.

another "rebound" by Hump. There's things he does really well, but his penchant to not box out or "steal" rebounds from his own teammates pisses me off

Yup, that would have been an easy layup for Lopez.

Could have been an easily layup for Kris too ... You can't fault him there.

Pretty sure Lopez had the inside position and was right there, and it was Kris who came charging in

Brook was behind Humphries, but had his hands up before him. Humphries decided to go up for it for some reason and knocked it out of his hands.
