Lopez is not for sale just to dump crappy contracts. Not to mention we are taking on an even crappier one. Once the new CBA is reached JJ is going to be seriously overpaid.

I just don't see how ATL can unload Johnson and get any positive value back. The best they can hope for is a clean salary dump.

Indeed, Morrow is actually a very good contract.

If Howard's going to play out his contract and be a free agent by 2012, having DWill and Joe Johnson waiting for him along with the cap space, that would really make the Nets the frontrunners for his services. This would be a very risky move though. But just checked JJ's salary and didn't realize he's owed that much money.

Or we could always just wait a year, prepare the cap space for Howard in 2012, and if that dream comes true, then talk with Atlanta, or another team with a similar quality wing, for a Brook sign-and-trade.

JJ's contract will be Shard-like in the future...

The problem with JJ is that he has the salary that only LBJ should have and yet he only plays like a star 20% of the time.

except Atl doesn't need any of those players and already have a stud at center.

Against size Al Horford is strictly a jump shooter, he's a power forward forced to play center and the Hawks suffer because of it.
