I don't have INSIDER but my guess on the rumors:

Rumor #1: "New Jersey's play at SF"
This rumor most obviously pertains to the Nets desire to swing a deal for Joey Graham so they can slot him into the SF position and Stephen Graham into the SG spot. It's been statistically and psychologically proven that twins perform the best when alongside one another.

Rumor #2: "The Nets' stance with Humphries"
The Nets are willing to pay Humphries $7 million a year unless he asks for $8 million. In which case Avery Johnson will convince Billy King to give him $9 million a year.

Rumor #3: "Whom the Nets may target"
The Nets have narrowed their free agent search to Kwame Brown, Jason Collins, Troy Murphy, and Thaddeus Young.

UPDATE: Fred Kerber of the New York Post lists Nene and Prince as "prime targets" for the Nets on the other side of the lockout.

---

The New Jersey Nets need to upgrade both forward positions and Al Iannazzone of The Record lists a bunch of free agents that will probably be their targets.

At power forward he lists Nene Hilario, David West, Tyson Chandler, Thaddeus Young, Kenyon Martin, along with Kris Humphries, who is their own player.

At small forward he lists Caron Butler, Tayshaun Prince, Andrei Kirilenko and restricted free agents Wilson Chandler and Jeff Green.

The Nets know this is an important offseason as they need to convince Deron Williams to make a long-term commitment to them. That's why they'll go after the top free agents.

They will also go after Orlando's Dwight Howard via the trade market during the upcoming season, if it's not cancelled due to the lockout.

UPDATE: As speculated below, Fred Kerber of the New York Post reported that Humphries is a priority to re-sign for the Nets, "but only at a reasonable price."

---

Kris Humphries is set to become a free agent on Friday and Wednesday he didn't want to discuss his future.

"We have to take care of the lockout first," Humphries told The Record. "My agent's going to handle the process and lay everything out. It's a little bit difficult to think about that right now. I'm still kind of in a different mode in terms of being here for the kids. That's really my focus."

The Nets need to sign a power forward and David West [New Orleans] could be their top free agent target, especially if Humphries' contract demands are too high. Humphries played well for the Nets this past season when he earned $3.2 million.

Humphries is good friends with Deron Williams and that could be a major factor when it comes to the power forward returning to the Nets. The team is desperate to sign Williams in 2012 and they want to keep him happy with their roster moves.

In the first year of his deal with New Jersey last season, small forward Travis Outlaw had a bit of disappointing year, and it's lead to speculation the team could be looking to make a change.

And according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News, it could come via a trade.

"Nets are looking to acquire a small forward via trade rather than free agency, source says," Bondy tweeted.

Considering the Nets are reportedly looking to surround Deron Williams with high-level talent in hopes he'll stay with them beyond next season, it's possible Andre Iguodala -- who reportedly came up in trade talks leading up to the draft -- could be an option.

Yet, the Nets may not quite have the right assets to acquire him -- especially if they're also looking to potentially trade for Dwight Howard next season as well, as has been reported.
