Assuming a season of course.

Who do you see stepping up? Who might be stepping down? Anyone look to be ready to bust out?

I'm expecting big things from Marshon Brooks this year. He and Anthony should make for a pretty good SG tandem.

The emergence of Jordan Farmar will push Deron out of NJ.

I was SOOOO about to go there!

Honestly, though, in retrospect I'll bet we'll see one of our offseason acquisitions as the biggest "surprise". I don't know who what will be, though. As many of you know, I would love to add athletic young vets like Wilson Chandler and DeAndre Jordan; but it seems that our FO is more interested in pursuing past-primers like Tyson Chandler, Nene Hilario and Tayshaun Prince. I I'll be happy either way, as long as we don't overpay for guys who don't address our biggest weaknesses: defense, rebounding and 3-point shooting.

Brook Lopez's athleticism, rebounding and defense will improve so he is not a burden in those areas.

and

Damion James rounds out his game a little and turns into a solid starter for us.

I'm hoping and think that Brook will have a much better year. He should improve his rebounding numbers, and his offensive output (also in terms of efficiency). I also hope that Marshon Brooks turns out to be the steal of the draft. He seems to have a good skillset and work ethic. If he can improve his shot selection, I don't see why he can't have a decent rookie season.

Yeah, I agree with this.

Thing is though, I'm not so sure either will be on the roster very long, Dwight or no Dwight.
