Video inside (the parts where Farmer speaks are in English... except a couple of words in Hebrew in the end. He learned the intonation well! ).

After the game in Adriatic league, Farmer looks sad about having to leave, and also says so. He speak about how he enjoyed here outside and inside the court, and says that when he becomes a free agent he will consider returning to Maccabi.

p.s. I'm don't really follow the NBA much, so I hope there was no trade I haven't heard about and he still belongs to the Nets, otherwise it's wrong sub-forum.

I can understand why he would be sad.

He'll probably never get tons of playing time (consistently) here. He loves playing in Israel and being immersed in the Israeli/Jewish culture.

He's got a decent contract that can help us in trades so he can go back after we trade him :)

Agreed on all three points!

I'll be honest, he and Morrow were the only two parts about last offseason that went as I wanted (Lee-for-Murphy, Jianlian-for-Ross, TrOut and Petro). I am glad we have such a capable backup, and I can definitely understand the bittersweet nature of his departure from MTA. But IF he's going to mope through the last two years and $8mil of his deal, I wish he'd just stay in Isreal, and we can void his contract. Not saying that he will or won't, just putting it out there. We have Deron, Sunny and Ben, we'll be fine!
