Al Iannazzone reports that the Nets have indeed hired both Mario Elie and P.J. Carlesimo, and in fact Elie showed up this morning at the PNY Center. Billy King wouldn't confirm the two had been hiring, saying there will be an announcement once deals are struck.

Iannazzone also reported that Rich Dalatri, the Nets long-time strength and conditioning coach, "was let go recently". No word on his successor...or whether, as rumored, Sam Mitchell won't be back.
