If D12 goes to the Nets, then would you guys accept VC back?

If Dwight goes to the Nets and joins Deron, the Nets would immediately become a team that will do some damage just by the presence of Dwight. The Nets would become contenders in the East.....and that would most def. attract VC into signing with them.

Now....I am a huge long time Vince Carter fan. I would love for him to go back to the Nets, where I believe he had his BEST years as a pro. I hope you guys appreciate the excitement he brought to the Nets for his 5 seasons here. Would u guys accept him back? Is it possible financially for him to come back?Maybe he can become the all-time Nets leading scorer??

I'd love if he came back here and retired a Net.

Would just feel right.

I was saying in the other thread, we would have somewhere between 4 and change and a touch over 5 in cap space.

Then said we would go after a Mayo.

But truth be told we need a big and I don't know that a guy like McRoberts would come for the $2.5 2 year exception.

So yes, if VC would come here for that exception, I would be thrilled.

IMHO, he would be the perfect 25mpg 3 position 6xth man.

Like an upper middle class Manu.

If VC gets waived/amnestied, I don't think he'll be worrying about money lol. He'll have already made his money for the season. Pretty sure he'd sign for something close to vet. min.

I tell you what though:

D-Will/Brooks/Turk/S.Williams/D12 + VC/Morrow vs. Douglass/Fields/Melo/Stat/T.Chandler + Shumpert

Very interesting...Where Brooklyn at!?!?

Depends on if Dwight likes VC after his disappearing act in Orlando...

I'd accept him back even if we don't get Howard. Carter is one of my favorite players all time along with J Kidd and RJ. I just hope he would come here for cheap....hopefully vet minimum.

Yeah, why was all of this talk about Suns waiving him? If they have the TO, then they don't have to pay a thing.
