Well, that Memo is gone long time ago.I am not saying he can't shoot, that he can but he is not doing anything on the defensive end,and that pisses me offffffff!!!!!i love the guy.i've been watching him for long time, and it's not like he was a great defender back then, but he used fight for rebounds on both defensive and offensive ends.

These days the only thing he does is to camp out around the 3-pt area and take shoots.he still has a good court vision,so he can dish couple of assists along the way.

over all,i believe he is a good pick up for the Nets.with a decent defensive guy playing along his side, this team has a potential.

We'd be a much better offensive team if he could just take and make his open shots on a somewhat consistent basis.

He's a liability when he's not making his shots.

Looks like the slowest, most unathletic guy in the league.

Ah Hah! But you forget my friend, we are the proud owners of a vintage 1985 Anthony Morrow with Pirelli PZero Nero's to keep glued to the lane in a straight line under all driving conditions.

he sometimes hesistate to take the shot eventhough he is wide open.always looking to pass first especially in the paint area.it is not bad quality but when you have guys that can't finish at the rim, then it is a problem.

i hope he gets more comfortable playing with thses guys and gets his confidence back and play more defense and be aggressive on the offensive end.

I had the oppurtunity to meet the guy when he came to DC couple years ago and what a great guy!!!!,but again, thisis business and if you getting paid tons of money you better bring your A game :D

He passes up way too many open shots, only to end up getting a worse shot attempt or a turnover. I think he still has his shooting touch, just needs to work on it a little more. On the defensive end, however, he is a major liability.

Jazz fan here and realize Memo is not playing to his ability right now and not sure if it is him not happy with where he is or if his Achilles injury has doomed him but he was one of the funniest centers to watch in this league, you just don't find a combination of moves and shots like Memo has. The Money man has given me some great memories and hope he returns and can give you some good ones as well. To the Money man and his return, salute.

His body language has looked fine the whole time here and at least the last 10 games he has looked "into it", I think the injury has taken it's toll and he wasn't/isn't in the greatest shape, even for him.

I don't think he's half-assing it or anything like that. I think he's just shot, and without his shot, he doesn't have a shot to play in this league at a sufficient enough level.

Exactly.

Although quite honestly he has been more active and aware lately and has looked more spry even though he's still a plodder at this point.

Has certainly played better the last 6 or 7 games, I think he's finally getting into basketball shape or just in shape period, although he's still not there yet.

I mean I'm not expecting him to ever be the player of old or even anywhere close to as mobile as he once was, the injury and father time have attacked and inflicted permanently, but I think he'll be just solid or at least sufficient albeit mediocre instead of the god awful 260 pounds of chewed bubblegum he had been for the first say 12 games.
