Jordan Williams recalled. Guessing Okur's injury isn't looking too good.

Need to win this game.

marshons another game time decision i assume? whats going on with that achilles? I feel like I've read on like 3 seperate instances that he's tweeted or remarked to some reporter that he feels great, and yet we keep holding him out.

Yeah, anybody know what the tests on Marshon's ankle say? Weren't they going to check on it today?

Personally, based on what Marshon was saying before each of the last 3 games, I was expecting him to play, but Avery after the game last night said that it's not getting better...

It's Nets vs Raptors again, only the HQ's Sean Tepper isn't going down the same road he did last time...

The last time that I previewed a New Jersey Nets vs. Toronto Raptors matchup, I made one of the most inaccurate predictions of all time.

At that time, the Toronto Raptors were 3-3, and riding a two game winning streak. For that game, I said that "I can finally say without a single doubt that the Toronto Raptors will beat the New Jersey Nets. Scratch that, the Toronto Raptors are going to manhandle the New Jersey Nets."

I could not have possibly been more wrong.

MarShon Brooks (Achilles) will be a game-time decision on Sunday.

Tests on Saturday didn't reveal anything serious, but Brooks did receive an injection.

From Rotoworld.com

IDK how much longer we can keep depending on Farmar to be that 2nd perimeter scorer, with Brooks constantly missing games.

Man I hope there's nothing chronically wrong with Marshon's achilles.

Versus teams like this? Forever.

Raptors are awful, he just need to bring it mentally and not play down to the level of competition.

Farmar is playing very well at this point. Sure he still pounds the Earth til the clocks down to 3 and panic passes to a double teamed big man who just tried to set the pick for him that he waived off 20 feet from the hoop, or he jacks up a contested 3, 6 seconds into the clock after he waived Deron off, but the rest of the time he's doing the damn thing and that's something I never thought I would say.

If we didn't likely need his salary in a bigger trade and if MarShon didn't have this tricky injury I don't doubt we would have sold high already for a useful expiring or a useless expiring and a pick.

For now though, he's playing very well overall.

That's my point, he's playing really well...like way better than he's ever played. Can we keep relying on him to do this...isn't he bound to come back down to earth at some point? It's the Raptors this game (which isn't necessarily a win, we're pretty bad too), but what about when we play better teams, and Farmar ends up playing "normal" again? Based on his career, I don't think we can expect him to maintain this level of play, which is why I'm getting a little uneasy with Brooks missing more and more games, and with Okur's injuries. Okur's played terrible, but he's always got the potential to be a solid scorer. That's two of our biggest scoring threats, outside of them, we have Deron, Humphries (who can't create for himself), Morrow (who can't create for himself), and Farmar.

How can you say the Raptors are awful and talk about not playing down to the level of competition? Last I checked your team only has one more win than the Raptors..

Or... won 2 of their last 3? Again, means nothing. At the end of the day, the Nets have one more win. Neither team is head and shoulders above the other.

Wait, are we ignoring the time that the Nets beat the Raptors by twelve in their own building? I'm confused.
