I am not, and it makes sense to trade your second best player in the team beside deron (lopez ain't second best after watching Marshon playing :D ) for Dwight Howard.

That post was directed to the OP.

Hey I like the Nets and even though I am a Magic Fan, I wouldn't mind you guys have a great team to always have a chance to knock out miami heat during the playoffs. I just want good players in return for that trade, and I am sure marshon brooks+lopez+fillers and a first rounder or so can help with a rebuild in Orlando while you guys compete for a championship.

To be honest I think Stan has a huge thing for three pointers, so he MIGHT take Anthony Morrow over Marshon Brooks which I would not like.

lol no. As much as I like Brooks, Lopez would be the centerpiece of that deal either way. If Marshon has the ceiling to be an elite scorer, then similarly Brook easily has the potential to be a 20/10 player in this league.

If you guys are willing to trade Brooks and probably the only way this happens is if you get Howard, how about this trade

Nets Get: Dwight Howard, Stephen Jackson, Carlos Delfino

Bucks Get: Brook Lopez, Marshon Brooks, Kris Humphries, Hedo Turkaglu

Magic Get: Andrew Bogut, Mehmet Okur, Larry Sanders, Bucks(lotto protected) and Nets 1st picks

Any thoughts?

So the Bucks get more value for Bogut than the Magic would for Dwight?

As for the OP. The Nets aren't trading anything to the team that is trying to trade for Dwight. Why give them more assets?

Here is how the trade breaks down
Nets
1. Howard for Brook Lopez(who you wont resign), Brooks and your 2012 1st rd pick.
2. S-Jax (who Howard wants to play with) and Delfino for Humphries(expiring)

Magic are getting rid of a really bad contract, an expiring contract, getting a top 3 C in the EAST, if he's healthy ( I know that a big IF) a 2010 top 20 pick and 2 first rounders. Magic save roughly 20 mil.

How is that bad for either?

I say no to the trade because Magic would probably want Marshon Brooks and Brook Lopez along with those first rounders. Marshon brooks is the only reason I would trigger the trade because that dude has great future potential. I know when I see a player and this guy has a kobe like swagger who plays very smart, especially being a rookie. I wouldn't mind involving the Bucks, but Marshon has to go to the Magic if it were me.

In all honesty, I truly believe that Dwight will end up with the Nets. He wants to be there and thats evident...

Yeah, the kid is good but come on guys. He's nowhere in the stratosphere of Kobe's status.

Btw, the Bucks trade makes absolutely no sense.

In reality, we'd be trading Lopez, Brooks and Hump for Stephen Jackson and Delfino. That makes no sense whatsoever. No one is going to try to revive the Bucks with that deal.

S-Jax is getting older and more grumpy and Bogut is frequently injured and yet somehow the Bucks get the all of that value? No way....
