Ahh, those were the days. VC and J-Kidd really haven't had a chance to connect their chemistry that they had in NJ, but they both start together, and Kidd's FG% has been down while VC has been effective but just a lot slower.

For what its worth I see mostly one/two Mav fans spamming that general forum thread and I almost never see that guy on our Dallas forum. This is the aftermath of the superfriends in Miami, so personally I hope superstars stick to their team and try to prevent the big three from ever winning that 'ship. Dirk got more love last season than all seasons before combined. Why don't they follow that script?

Frankly, the difference between picking up Chandler and gutting everyone for a chance at Deron is probably negative. I don't like the direction our FO took and personally believe it's not going to happen (as I expressed on said thread anyway). But if it works out for us, don't expect to see me complain either...

I dread this game tonight because I will have to hear it from my oldest son about Deron will want to return home to Texas after the lynching the Mavs will put on them tonight.

His rebuttal to everything is Deron will be good as gone after the season to play with winners like Dirk and others.

Should be a good game, we're still going to lose though. I think whatever Deron does on the court will be magnified x10 because of all the Deron to Dallas rumors and could potentially ruin a good game since IMO Deron is going to have a good game, he's got his family most likely watching from the stands so he's going to want to turn it on, but the media's just going to somehow turn that into a "Deron to Dallas" hype.

There's only won scenario where something good happens tonight:

Deron plays poorly and the rest of the team carries the load and we beat the Mavs.

Of course, I don't see that happening at all but every other scenario is going to make things bad for us.

D-Will plays well and the team plays well: "See how good he is now, just imagine how good he'll be on the Mavs"

D-Will plays bad and the team loses badly: "If the rest of the team didn't suck so much, D-Will would have played much better"

D-Will plays well and the team loses badly: "It's clear that D-Will is the only good player on the Nets. If he came to Dallas, he wouldn't have to worry about carrying the team".

Man. There was a touch of a foul there, but they blew the whistle before it even happened. The respect some players get is absurd. Not so much complaining, it's just a little crazy.
