Okay this might be a knee jerk reaction after tonight's game, but if Orlando doesn't want Brook Lopez would you be willing throw 2 future first rounders into the deal and keep Lopez.
Keep in mind extending Lopez will take at least 10mill a year, so we will be in cap hell.
So the trade would be something like this
Orlando out: Howard, Turk
Orlando in: Brooks, Okur, Hump, Shawne Williams, Houston First, NJ 2012,2014, 2016
Nets out:Brooks, Okur, Hump, Shawne Williams, Houston First, NJ 2012,2014, 2016
Nets in: Howard, Turk
Nets new roster
Deron/Farmar
Morrow/
Turk/Green
Lopez/Sheldon
Howard/Petro

Of course we would do that. But they wont. Lopez has always been our best piece. All trades over the next two weeks start with him. If King pulled off a deal without Brook going out...he would instantly be a god in my book.
Basically gave Orlando nothing. They might as well wait to the summer rather than do that deal.

I don't understand. Why would your reaction be not wanting him after the game where he dropped 38 on route to his team beating one of the best teams.
Don't give that rebounding argument because he helped the worst rebounding team in the league (US) out rebound them. Defensively we held Dallas to 92 points. All this in his third game back from a half of season long injury.
That is one of those knee jerk reactions that is not normal and you should have a doctor check out.

Do you know how low value those 1st round picks would be with Dwight and Deron on the team? Orlando wouldn't do that.

Yeah, there's no way this deal would go down. On top of that, keeping Brook was be absolutely ridiculous...in a good way lol.

I don't think the Magic FO is stupid enough not to include Lopez in a trade.
They may not like him, but other teams do. He'll be a great trade-chip...
