Why can't nets win games or compete it seems they have decent core they should be atleast 500%. I watch them allittle but don't know what's missing?

Chemistry and lack of playing with each other. Talented big men (other than Lopez obviously that just came back). Motivation Possibly... We've had so many injuries this season I can imagine how hard it is for Avery Johnson to have a consistent rotation, as well as how hard it is for Deron to know where guys want the ball with lack of practice with a set rotation. We have a lot of big men that shouldn't be playing these many minutes and do not know how to catch a basketball or have any sort of post offense. This puts a lot of pressure on our gaurds to do anything.

There's a lot of excuses that could be made and what if's, but that's simply not the case and all we can do is mush forward. Who knows, maybe it is a blessing in disguise. Also, I believe many of our losses have been fairly close games.
12-70. Never Forget. Moment of silence for all the fans lost during that battle.

A lot of injuries this year. I think if we had Brook Lopez all season we'd be around .500, probably a little bit under. We've had Johan Petro starting most of the year and hes the worst player in the whole NBA. Our frontcourt outside of Humphries and Lopez can't even catch the ball let alone make a layup. Our defense has been historically bad. Deron's been a little inconsistent and shown a bad attitude at times although hes had some great games as well. In the beginning of the season Morrow was starting and for a while couldnt hit any shots which makes him useless. Marshon was putting it all together and then got hurt for a couple weeks which kind of set him back a bit. Deshawn Stevenson plays major minutes for us and is a chucker who cant hit any shots. The team likes to get into major like 20 point deficits in the first half and then try to get back into it in the second half which usually falls short. I guess its a mixture of all that

Injuries has rocked us, our "Super Star" shows up weekly, and our coach can only say "We Battled".
