Once that pretty baby hits 100 pages, why don't you all slip into something new and continue the conversation to the sweet melodies of the Growing Pains theme song.

After all...
As long as we got each other, we got the world spinnin' right in our hands. Baby, you and me, we gotta be the luckiest dreamers who never quit dreamin'...
Carry on.

Dwight is trying to **** the Magic.
Trade his ass right now so he never has another chance at winning a championship.
If there is no guarantee of extension, Lakers wouldn't do it. From the sounds of it, Howard is a huge drama queen hell bent on forcing his way to the Nets.
Dwight is a headcase. I want him off of my team.
He's going to the Nets anyways, so PLEASE TRADE HIM! FOR **** SAKE!

You know what would be hilarious?
Dwight comes here via FA and then Melo demands a trade here and the Knix have to blow it up, we send them MarShon, Brook and a couple future 1sts next deadline.

Why so Melo can screw up what happens here?
We need a defensive, slashing, athletic SF, not an offensive, isolating, semi-athletic SF.

Im going to be completely honest, Melo would be a dream with D Will and Howard. Tell me a better SF that would be available
D Will, Melo and Howard would be insane. Melo with open looks all day? you kidding me? I'd do it in a heartbeat

Melo doesn't want open looks. He wants the ball, iso, and create his own tough shot.
If he wanted open looks he'd be running D'Antoni's system the way it's supposed to be run instead of standing around waiting for someone to throw him the ball.

At the end of the day Melo is still a top player and I dont care what anyone says he's never played with a top point guard or a top centre.
Be completely serious now, are you guys telling me you wouldnt take Melo if we had D Will and Howard?
Id go as far as to say the Knicks would be foolish to trade him, they have a good squad just need to tweek a few things. Stat is their biggest problem, for what hes paid he doesnt produce what is needed. Wouldnt surprise me if the Knicks got a new coach and looked a good team.

You know I'm being a bit overboard when I'm saying what I'm saying but you gotta believe that with all of the talent on that team, there's no way that Melo alone shouldn't be able to will his team to victory over the past few games.
Dude, if the ball doesn't revolve around Melo, he can't do it.
He asked to get paid like a superstar and he performs best when he's treated like one.
I know the potential would be astounding, but not only does his contract annihilate the cap, but I just don't think he'd totally gel.
If it happened, I wouldn't complain but I think we can create a better balanced and more lethal team by spreading money owed to Melo to other parts.
On a side note, could you imagine a billboard in Brookyln saying:
"Well I was born in Brooklyn anyway, not Manhattan..." LOL!!

The Knix should trade Melo and Lin for Rondo and Pierce.

Supposedly Orlando told Dwight either commit for 12-13 or he's getting traded. Not sure how true the report is. Theres been a lot of BS these past few days

Report is probably BS, but I think that scenario is true.

Shock horror there are reports of the Magic being interested in Melo and Chandler & also want the Lakers to make an offer, i mean really??
We were all waiting for this rubbish to come out about how these teams were going to make offers to try and bleed the Nets assets dry. Its like the Magic front office opened a negotiation book called, "Negotiations for Dummies".
Do they really expect Billy King, who knows what Howard wants and has talked to his agent about it, would sell the farm for Howard know that the Magic have absolutely zero leverage.
With D'Antoni quiting the Knicks now as well, why would Howard want to go to a sinking ship to play with Lin and Amare??
The media are spoon feed rubbish and report it as fact, welcome to the age of misdirection.
Billy King, all you have to do is...

Well now Broutard is reporting we're going after him now, trying to do a 3 way(giggity) to land him by tomorrow.
After the initial excitement wears off, I'll actually be disappointed depending on who comes back with Howard or what immediate follow up moves we can make.
