See, this is why you're better than me. I thought about renaming the Dwight Howard thread to Kill Bill, but settled just on the Billy King Monitoring name. You actually did it.

Bull ****.

Billy King wants immediate impact you don't get that via draft picks you get that type of impact via free agency & trade... Very rarely you see a rookie outside the top 3 make a immediate impact in the NBA...

Bull **** part deux.

So I believe in what Billy is doing and he shooting for the playoffs then build from there this BK Nets thing will make top notch players wanna play in barclay center it's just a matter of time

I respect that you have faith in this organization, but I'll believe it when I see it and I don't believe any spin on this trade, it was awful.

I really hope we make a top 3 jump, but even if that happens that will not be an honest nor adequate defense of this trade.

If you worried about Deron Williams leaving you shouldn't be you don't need a great point guard to win in the NBA... Just need a good point guard and it's alot of them that are free agents at the end of the year... Look at the teams who won the championship recently most of them had good point guards not top 5 point guards in NBA...

All the Nets need is rebounding & toughness look at the Indiana Pacers that's all they have basically with one legit scorer being Danny Granger look at they team performance..

Awful example and terrible aspirations.

They aren't even a guaranteed 2nd round team even with home court.

New Jersey Nets is gonna be one of the few organizations willing to spend and go into the luxury tax... NBA teams are scaling back their spending coming next year you will see that.. Gerald Wallace was a great pick up by Billy and not a panic move he brings toughness something lacking from the squad right now..

I call...

Free agency will be very open window for Nets that market they will be in will attract good quality veterans...

We'll see. I think a lot of that will depend on if Deron commits long term.

Every time I look at Gerald Wallace I see nothing but Jeremy Lamb's emotionless face.

I missed the beginning of the interview but it was clear that it was just one of those "Ask BK what he's doing and is he concerned about D-Will leaving?" type of interviews. Didn't attack BK at all, but he kept asking about D-Will and pleasing him so that he stays.

I think he was saving his energy and vitriol for Jeremy Lin lol.

You know, watching this game right now a thought came to me...

I think I'm starting to see Billy's reasoning behind the trade... he thinks MarShon really is a star in the making.

Wallace's decline is being greatly exaggerated, but fact is, he's a 15 and 7, 2 dimes and great defense kind of player who's limited in the half court.

He got this guy to role play next to his drafted star MarShon.

Wow, we really are screwed.

Fire him and bring in Kevin Pritchard.

I'd take Pritchard sitting on his hands, allowing his talent's value to rot away instead of consolidating his roster, drafting Euros that will never come over, and needlessly spending a billionaire's money over King any day. At least Pritchard will allow the team to bottom out on their own, instead of gambling the future on something that shouldn't be gambled on.

He's ten thousand times better than Billy King, even with all of the faults and flaws that I listed about him. Laughable for you to even imply differently.

I like Pritchard in a rebuild situation. Or if he's forced to pull the trigger on trades.

This is a guy who wouldn't give up Rudy Fernandez and then demanded Thorn include our pick to swap Raef LaFrentz corpse for VC.

He's like the polar opposite of BK.

BK gives away young talent like candy, Pritchard overrates his own young talent and won't let even the meager-est of it out of his cold dead grasp.
