I'm tempted to vote for someone else just to annoy Shameer... but this is Rose, easily.

Can I request Devin Harris be added here since he made the playoffs?

Time for my not so popular picks of Nash/Westbrook...going with Nash.

Again, this is right now, and right now...Rose is injured/not that good/not that important to his team.

Hopefully Rose gets voted somewhere around 17th just so Meer blows a fuse.

None of the players traded for Deron are the reason why the Jazz are in the playoffs. Millsap, Al Jefferson, and Gordon Hayward are the beasts of that team.

Come on now, the real reason they're in the playoffs is Sloan.

He's done a great job this year. In fact we all know Deron was just a product of his system.
This season proved it beyond a reasonable doubt.

Jerry Sloan definitely gets my vote Coach of the Year.

That sir, is false. Favors and Harris have both stepped up during this playoff push. But I will agree Big Al is there MVP and the only reason there even going there. The main point being, they made it, when no one thought they would. Something you keep an eye on, for you Nets fans that haven't watch the Jazz much, see how they play with Millsap-Favors-Jefferson lineup :D

Why not?

Loves defense is pretty damn bad and as efficient as he is as a big time scorer on a large volume, he's still not really a #1 option go to scorer you can just give the ball and let go to work.

He's more like an efficient jump shooting wing without the handle, first step or athleticism to create a clean look for himself in crunch time.

Sure he's hit a couple game winning 3's and a game tying one, but how many times is your 6'9 PF really going to get clean open looks like that in a pressure situation?

And I'm more talking like the last 5 minutes of a game or overtime, not as much an actual last shot.

An actual last shot Love is probably a better option then almost any big man in the league because of his jump shooting ability, but again that's usually a spot you want your wing or point guard to take that responsibility.

I'm talking you're up or down by around 5, there's 4 or 5 minutes left in a seesaw game and you're facing a good athletic defensive team.

In that situation, you can't really just keep dumping the ball down to Love or hope he can get open for and nail repeated 3's.

He's still a complementary scorer to me, a 2nd option, in some lineups a 3rd, that can get an uber efficient 20ppg in his sleep completely within the flow of the offense without demanding a ton of offense halting iso touches.

That's an awesome thing and an awesome player, but that's why I rank LMA and Dirk above him on offense alone.

Yes his rebounding is absurd, but again he's a bad defender.

He's right around this range, he's certainly a top 15 player. I don't think it's crazy to put him this high, but I prefer him ranked a little lower.

He hasn't hit his ceiling yet though, maybe he'll get in even better shape and gain some quickness and explosion.

Maybe he'll develop his face up game.

We'll see, but right now I have him a very close 3rd to LMA and Dirk.

I agree Love is a 2nd option being run as a 1st. But you nailed it at the end:

He hasn't hit his ceiling yet though, maybe he'll get in even better shape and gain some quickness and explosion.

Also, the stats (or the eye test, see game vs. OKC) don't back up your belief that he can't be a crunch time scorer, IMO of course.

Well Love has hit some clutch shot during his short career, and he might not be the best first option, but he's not the worst one either. He does well for a big man though, rebounds the hell out of the ball on each side of the floor and is a matchup nightmare for oppositions.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be THRILLED if we got Kevin Love somehow and then were able to turn Brook into a tough, athletic defensive minded center or a shooting guard and then filled the opposite through free agency.

I just prefer Aldridge and think he's better in most lineups.
