Brooklyn Chants and other Fanfare

Post#1 » by BlueDawn » Thu Apr 26, 2012 2:10 am

What kind of chants would you like to hear at the Arena?

I was just day dreaming of the day where we have a sold out arena, everyone is going nuts, and chanting "BROOOOOKLYN....BROOOOKLYN!" Or "GO BK GO BK GO!" ...repeat x10 ...Or just "LET'S GO NETS!" As we heard in our last home game.

Also, if we ever make the playoffs, would you like to see sort of what the Miami Heat have going on with "White out" but instead "Black out" where everyone wears black. I'm not too sure if a team is already doing that?

Anyway, I would like to hear some ideas you guys have so we can have a decent atmosphere.

As long as it isn't an MVP chant for the opposing team, I'm fine with whatever.

I'll be happy with Nets fans being louder than Knick fans...that would be a good start...

I'll be happy if the tickets are affordable so I can be able to be louder than Knicks' fans.

^That song just makes me sad now, because I was expecting EPIC highlight mixes of Deron and Dwight together, with that song...now it's going to be set to a mix of Marshon Brooks and Brook Lopez getting dunked on by the rest of the league...

I can see the intro's being insane, especially opening night with Jay Z doing a live intro of Brooklyn We Go Hard.

People will be going nuts, completely crazy, then to pump the crowd up pre tip off & even during the game just play a sample of Biggy Smalls shouting, 'where Brooklyn at.. where Brooklyn at... where Brooklyn at' over & over.

This is what I'm talking about, minus the tune http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7H6RBtkC2E&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Can't wait for it

Hey N Ireland... i dont know how much irish basketball you follow but have you heard of a guy named ciaran white? he played for UL Eagles last year not sure if he's still playing, but I went to high school with him in NJ for a year at a boarding school and we were teammates. Just wondering if you've heard of him haha.

Down for this, but this should be the intro song for the players.

I'm sorry mate I don't follow any basketball outside the NBA, some us college ball & a few euro league games. The standard over here isn't high even to really interest me tbh.
