LOL, the Gasol pic is pretty funny.
I'm going with Pierce for two reasons:
-It's between him and Harden, and I think Pierce is clearly better
-KG is imo the best player on the Celtics and he's not nominated

This is a crapshoot for me.. but I also have a few thoughts for my vote (hey therealbig3 I'm doing bulltpoints too.. wanna fight about it?):
-I refuse to vote for Bynum and Rondo. I seriously dislike them and think they're overrated.
-I won't vote for Harden til after the top 20. It's ridiculous he's even up there when he hasn't proven much.
-Parker is a good player but I think he's equal to Ginobili and Duncan so if I vote for him I have to vote for the other three as well and I'm not ready to do that just yet.
-Bosh was another choice here, though chose Pierce instead because he can take over and Bosh only does so on rare occasions.
-Griffin isn't top 15 I dont care what ESPN says.
-Gasol is regressing and couldn't justify voting him in the top 15.

Tony Parker. Best player of the best team in the NBA which just also happened to have the best offense.

Question: Did Parker at the age of 29/30 magically become a much better player and a legitimate MVP candidate...or is it more likely that Popovich is a genius and makes people look better than they are, and Parker may be a product of a great system? What does Parker do any differently now than he used too? Decent but not great court vision, very quick, great finisher, decent jumper, weak sauce defender...like always.
I'd still argue that Duncan is the MVP of the Spurs...he's still their defensive anchor, and he's still their only legitimate low post scorer. He still demands double teams every now and then, which opens things up for everyone else. Duncan was the main reason they swept the Clippers...Parker played poorly.
The Spurs are going to be one of the best teams in the league every year, regardless of how their players are playing individually. They're built like the 04 Pistons now, no one player is all that great, but they play so well together.
Basically, I think Parker's a bit overrated...very good player, but definitely not a legit MVP candidate, and imo, definitely not a top 15 player in the league.

Also, may be a bit of an overreaction from what I'm seeing right now, but now that Ginobili is healthy...how is Harden better than him? Ginobili is basically Harden with much better defense. I'd probably go Pierce, then Duncan, then Manu, then Harden. IMO, KG should go ahead of all of them though.
