OT(?): Deron Williams' Highlights Mix

This is my first video I've ever made and spent a few days on it (although I don't have any real good video editing software) so I was limited in creativity to Windows Movie Maker (Which crashed a lot on me and it was a frustrating process)...but anyway, tell me what you think

Yeah, this was good!
Also, it just reminds me how good D-Will can be when his teammates are actually decent. He's most dangerous when the opponent can't just focus on him as the single focal point on the Nets.

Anyone have any labtop suggestions? Id like a computer that can handle making videos while having long battery life and memory.

If you buy a MacBook I will personally hunt you down and smack you in the face. Overrated piece of trash.
With that being said... Go with the Dell XPS 15 with the memory / graphics upgrade.

I bought mine for Graphic Design purposes and though I haven't really designed that much since getting it, this laptop is a straight up BEAST.
The one downside is that it's a bit on the heavier side compared to your typical laptop.

Yeah, the Granny Smith green ones are the best.

It comes with it? Or..what would I have to do? Like I want to use this labtop for college, but on my down time maybe fool around on a video software.

I love how much of this board hates Apple. Anyway guys, let's keep this back on topic and compliment BlueDawn for his highlight video. I think you should've kept his Jazz highlights in black and white and his Nets highlights in color though. Plus you should've put a lot more emphasis on that crossover to buzzer beater in Philly.

Thanks for the feed back Rich. I was thinking that exact same thing as I was making it, but my program kept crashing on me until it finally corrupted my save file. So I was stuck with this early version I luckily converted to a movie file.
Like after this version that you saw, I was going to rearrange the order of the clips so all the Jazz highlights are first, then it transitions into his debut with the Nets.
But once again thanks for the critique.

I hope you keep at it. We always need a guy who can do media around here. You can even have a dedicated thread if you're consistent enough.

http://www.dell.com/us/p/xps-l502x/pdWhen you hit "customize and buy" on Dell.com there's a whole slew of options that you can check and uncheck before you buy.
I know two of the options that are there are the option to buy more ram (if you're into video editing, this is probably a good option for you, it's always cheaper to buy and install ram yourself but it can be a bit cumbersome on a laptop depending on the model and how familiar you are with the whole process), and to upgrade your graphics card.
I stuck with the standard 4-6 GB of ram since my graphic design work isn't too intensive (no 3D modeling, etc), but I ended up upgrading the display because I wanted a higher screen resolution (1920 x 1080).
*I only browsed through the first link I provided and I'm not sure if the same display upgrade I chose is available anymore, if you're interested in that version of the XPS I would double-check with Dell / online what the screen resolution is, the default 1366 x 768 (or something along those lines, and is a bit small for my tastes).
Also I haven't looked into it that heavily, as when I was buying my laptop it was significantly more expensive, but the XPS 15z (newer thinner version of the XPS 15) might be up your ally if you have the money to spend.

Thanks fellas.
Any suggestion to what I should make my next video about?
Depending on the outcome of the following weeks, and if I'm not too busy with my internship- I can try and throw something together.
edit: and once I start learning computer lingo xD

I'm a big fan of Stephon Marbury mixes (you always #1 in my book STEPH!) but I'll settle for a Stephen Graham one.
Or... A good Brook Lopez video.

If its video editing you want, I might be inclined to go with a Mac despite how expensive they are compared to PC. Otherwise, if you plan on using it for other stuff (work, school, gaming), go with PC.
