http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/81218 ... d-one-team
according to this, he has only ever wanted to be traded to one team (or at least that is how he feels as of now)
my first question in regards to this situation, is does this imply that a d-will resigning is imminent? if this sentiment is fueled by the desire to play alongside deron williams, that is very telling.
however, if dwight has no idea whether or not d-will will resign and STILL has brooklyn as his only other target, then
1) it should obviously help our chances of retaining d-will
-
2) if d-will walks, should we
--------- a) look into a trade for howard immediately
--------- b) sign some guys to keep the team somewhat competitive, then make a run at him next year in free agency
-
3) with all thats been said and done, there is no chance hes making a single appearance in a magic uniform this upcoming season right?
.
.
sorry for all the questions, ive just been thinking of this a lot lately

Pretty sure it includes D-Will, and that no D-Will means no Dwight also.

Re: Dwight with or without Deron Williams?
wow... thanks for your meaningless input. "pretty sure it includes d-will"... then I must take your word for it!!
our situation with d-will, is unclear to say the least. there is no guarantee he will resign.
yet, dwight made statements (provided in the link) which indicate clear interest in joining team, DESPITE the uncertainty. if you read the article, there is no implication that there is a desire to team up with anyone in particular. a desire to be with d-will could obviously be inferred, but that is assuming that dwight ALREADY KNOWS that d-will will stay in brooklyn, and if you are assuming that could you perhaps provide a reason? seeing as how d-will is taking a meeting with the goddamn mavericks?
so i raise the question AGAIN, in hopes of an intelligent, insightful response, or at least not as dismissive as the last response some buffoon gave me: if Dwight's interest isnt dependent on where D-will lands, how should the nets proceed?

Re: Dwight with or without Deron Williams?
I wouldnt hate a team with nash, joe johnson, and dwight... and since nash would cost about 5-6 mil less than dwill then we would still have some flexibility... but I do think that dwight wants to come to the nets just to play with dwill
