Season Tickets Question

Hey...Heat fan here but I do a lot of business in NY. With all the hype around your new stadium and players...I was wondering how you guys think the ticket demand will be this year. Is there a lot of hype around people buying season tickets? I know this question may be moot at this point but how do the games usually sell? Will competing with the Knicks be a problem? If you swing the Dwight trade + resign Deron, do you think all of the games will be sold out?

The reason I am asking is I do a lot of business in NY and plan on going to games when I am in town. If you tell me that the demand isn't that great and there will be seats to be had...I'm not going to bother with season tickets and I'll just buy them on a game by game basis. However, if you tell me that the hype right now is through the roof and the only tickets that will be available are crappy seats unless I overpay on the secondary market...I am going to buy season tickets.

Thanks for your help :)

All I know for sure is that there is 2,000 tickets for sale for every game at under $15 a game (if memory serves me right) because local residents etc were worried about not being able to see any games.

Here's a link: http://www.slamonline.com/online/nba/2012/01/stacks-stats-qa-with-brett-yormark/2/

As an example, there will be 2,000 seats for the Nets priced at $15 and under when we get to Brooklyn. That shows the commitment we’re making to the borough and to anyone who wants to come see NBA basketball in Brooklyn. As it relates to other events, pricing and affordable pricing will always be part of the model. It’s truly important for us to get local support, and I think you do that – or enhance that possibility – by pricing your tickets the right way.

Also here is a 3d seating chart to help you pick your seat and what your view is like so have a look at this:

Tickets were already selling well, and then when just the RUMOUR of the Nets trying to pull a Big 3 happened between yesterday and today, ticket sales rocketed.

It's time to get in cuz the team (if healthy) should at minimum be at a healthy Atlanta Hawks level, which is a 4 seed.

But we would have D-Will >> Teague, JJ is the same, Wallace > Marvin Williams, Teletovic < Josh Smith , Lopez < Horford.

You should get your tickets while you can. The place will be rocking.
