Thanks for talking me off the ledge guys!

Post#1 » by BrooklynNetsFan » Fri Jul 6, 2012 11:17 am

I just wanna thank you guys for talking me off the ledge a couple of weeks ago. I made a thread stating that I just couldn't take all the horrible front office moves of Billy King and the state of the Nets was looking pretty grim. A majority of you guys told me to hang in there and I might as well wake until after the draft and July 1st to see what happens. I'm glad I stuck around! Billy King and Co. has had one of the most successful offseasons I have ever seen in New York/New Jersey basketball history. Even without Dwight, this is still a pretty good team, and everything just went right. If the Nets make at least the 4th seed...Billy King has to be the front runner for Executive if the Year. Things are looking up for once!

I'm confused...I thought we were trying to convince you to make the leap?

Some were...obviously you were one..lol . But I took others advice that told me I might as well just wait to see how it ends. Things were looking "Mavericks Bad" like a month ago...you have to admit

NP op...although I find it quite funny and ironic that Billy King (of all people) may be the ultimate reason why you're still a Nets fan.

Oh and just fyi...if and when people decide to switch from supporting our team to go to another's you should expect us to not take it too kindly. If you look back at some posters who left us to go to other teams (e.g. Revolutionistt, iDunk), we don't give them nice sendoffs lol.

What about fans that want to jump on the bandwagon because we're on the up and up, we should just lay out the red carpet?
