Dont ask for a link because you wont get it but a few people from the Magic forum emailed the GM asking that the trade not be made. He actually returned the email saying the deal was done but we fans would be pleasantly surprised. I have no idea how we would be considering he just setup the Nets in fashion that regardless of 1 rd picks acquired, we would never beat you or the Heat in a series but that was what was said.

My only positive in this is someone has to beat the Heat and if it takes a superteam to do it and it isnt us, it might as well be you. I dont hate the Nets but I do hate the Heat and the Celtics.

Really? I too sent Hennigan a message, and I got back a telegram saying they're still working out the kinks. I sent an email asking what the kinks were, and shortly thereafter I received a carrier pigeon stating the Nets are looking for teams other than the Cavs.
