Help me out here. Coming in late. Has it been reported that Gerald Green is leaving Nets for Pacers? If not, consider it reported.

I'm gonna miss him. One of the very bright spots of the 2011'2012 season.
I'm glad he was able to secure a multi year deal, though. I'll be rooting for him every step of the way.

Wish they would have given him the GTD year quicker in the season last year. Really going to miss GG, has a ton of untapped potential and sitting behind Crash would have been perfect for him.

I don't think you'll find any Nets fan who will have anything bad to say about him. Sad to see him leave, as it seemed like he really enjoyed being a apart of our organization and relished the chance to prove himself as a player and a person.
Nothing bad to say about Gerald. I wish we were able to retain him and offer something competitive.
Good luck in Indy.

Should Johan Petro be offended that he hasn't gotten an appreciation thread?

I think the TPE we gave for Evans should be offended, Still waiting on those highlights, BlueDawn...

Dunk of the year!
Just one of the many menories GG gave us. It's a shame we can't keep him.
I wish him the best of luck...

I was contemplating starting a thread either for the TPE or the 2016 2nd rounder we gave up for Joe Johnson.

Thanks, that's the point of this thread...
gonna miss Green, I'll be rooting for him.
Watching those dunks, he just gets higher than anyone else by such a large margin.

The NBA should give a team who finds D league talent early bird rights somehow to give the team that 'discovers' him a real advantage in keeping him.
So frustrating being hamstrung into not being able to offer more than vet min

Good luck Green

I agree, the NBA should give a team Early Bird Rights on any D-League discovery and or a player in which you're rejuvenating his career...the role we played in Gerald Green's career is ultimately the present contract he rec. from the Pacers...
Tough to see him go...Good luck G

Yep. Wish we could have brought him back. He would have brought some electricity in Brooklyn.

Even if he was picked up by another team from the D league he wouldn't of got nearly the same amount of minutes as he did with us, which let him develope and get better and better.
I'm really bitter about this because the Knicks get to keep Lin etc even though he was there for a short period of time after being waived by other teams and yet a player we brought in and showcased can move on without us able to do a thing.
So so so so so frustrating

Gerald Green is the only player I think I've seen where he was loved by everyone. Not a single bad thing said about him.

I really wanted him to re-sign but i dont blame him for taking more money. He brings energy to games and can spark a run with a big dunk. Hope he does well in Indy
