Preseason Game 3: Brooklyn Nets @ Boston Celtics
Posted: Tue Oct 16, 2012 8:58 pm
NETS vs. CELTICS
Location/Arena: TD Garden, Boston, MA
GameTime: 7:30pm
Channel: NBATV
Officials: E. Malloy, S. Corbin, K. Lane
Starting Lineups
Boston Celtics
PG: Rajon Rondo
SG: Courtney Lee
SF: Paul Pierce
PF: Jared Sullinger?
C: Kevin Garnett
vs.
Brooklyn Nets
PG: CJ Watson
SG: MarShon Brooks
SF: Josh Childress
PF: Reggie Evans
C: Andray Blatche
Things to Note:
Both teams are playing their second night of a back-to-back.
In their last game, BOS lost to PHI by 32 points. However, KG did not play and no single player on Boston played more than 27 minutes.
BKN beat WAS 98-88 in their first game of the back-to-back, which was the first preseason game ever at the Barclays Center. JJ played 38 minutes in the first preseason game and D-Will was brought back in at the end of the 4th quarter to close out against a depleted Wizards roster.
What to Watch For:
Even though it's a preseason game, this game will serve as a good measuring stick to see how far they are jelling as a team. What better way to measure yourselves than against a veteran Boston team in a preseason friendly.
Key Matchup:
Deron Williams vs. Rajon Rondo
Many people have argued that Rondo's overall regular season performance and playoff performance from last year have vaulted him in front of Deron Williams on the list of the league's best PG.
This is D-Will's first chance to prove that he's better and can be just as, if not more effective, than Rondo when given an equally talented team.

LET'S GO NETS!!!
Btw, the first episode of 'The Association' featuring the Nets is on right after the game.
EDIT: If it's true that the starters aren't playing, then most of the info was largely for nothing. Oh well
