Seems like a natural move, and makes a ton of sense imo. But back when I read the back and forth about the rust look on the general board, it was often quoted that the stadium couldn't host a hockey team, instead opting for better sight lines. Any insight into what needs to be changed, if anything?

Thanks!

They average less than 14000 fans currently which is Barclays hockey capacity, so depending upon ticket prices they should be ok. I'm sure Barclays has made some assurances though. More info from the realgm of hockey here:

Also the lease isn't until 2015 so that gives at least two years to make some renovations to the arena to improve it for Hockey.

It's actually pretty simple changes that need to be made and boom it'll be a great hockey arena.

So apparently there is big announcements about the isles on top of the move like Ratner becoming a part owner of the isles and also maybe the isles moving earlier than 2015.

I'm really excited about this as a Nets and isles fan. With Brooklyn having a huge Russian community wait and see all the Russia free agents now wanting to join the isles.

Great move for the isles and also the nets because its more money for the Nets ownership.
