Don't mean to nitpick here, but...can the key matchup be between players who won't be guarding each other?

Let's go Nets!

So you're saying it should be Blatche/Kidd?

I think lopez vs Chandler is the Key Matchup... If Lopez can get him in foul trouble then we should be fine.

It's the key matchup because Deron vs Carmelo will be key players to produce for each team to get the win and both are franchise players for both NY teams.

Brook has to score 25 or better for us to win.

JJ just needs to keep up the pace

Deron and Wallace just need to continue to defend and try to hit some shots. Both guys are brick layers at this point.

Eh. We'll see what happens. I feel balanced about this game, the Knicks aren't intimidating imo

Wallace should be on Melo, but then who does Hump guard?

I think they should take turns. Humphries seems to get under Melo's skin for some reason.

Melo is probably going to get his anyway, as long as he doesn't go ape **** for like 35+ we'll be OK.

I don't think we should do that. They have a flaw as well on the glass with that line-up, Lopez, Wallace, and Hump should get a ton of offensive rebounds.

In the preseason game, when Melo played the 4, we stuck Hump on Brewer.

JJ, Wallace, and Bogans should guard Melo at all times, regardless of whether he's playing the 3 or the 4.

I don't think we should change our starting five. Keep it as is and adjust the minutes from there. Definitely need Crash from the Lakers game to show up, too.

I also agree with vc4p; Melo is good for 28-30, but it is the other guys we need to contain like Felton. Frustrate the others, like chucker J.R. Smith, and we should win this.

If Avery starts Gerald Wallace at the 4, it's going to show that he learned NOTHING from that 1 seed collapse against the small GSW. You make teams adjust to you. Let the starters build chemistry and make changes during the game if it's not working. The numbers actually show that Hump has done a great job on Melo, for whatever reason. Let us dominate the glass and attack the rim if they're going to play small.

We have 5 capable bigs, we have no reason to go small really.
