Yeah I'd definitely put Melo over TD. But I still have Dwight and Kobe over him right now for sure.

Ok guys, we're going to need to move this along.

It's basically between TD & Melo.

We're going to need some of the guys who voted for other players to chime in an choose between the two. Right now, it's 6-6.

In case you've been dead this past week....

TD had 31/18 (11/25 FG)in a loss to Denver...
Melo's first game back from injury and as a Game time decision lights us up in the Garden for 31/3/3 on 12/22 FG shooting.

I'm still going Dwight. I refuse to vote for a repub or a dem just cause you don't like Nader!

Dwight would still be your top choice lol. I just need to know the backup picks.

Fine... Kobe... Dead ass with that too, not just a humorous ribbing. He'll be my vote for 5 if Dwight doesn't get 4.

Melo is my #6 at this point.

BTW, Wade has picked up his game, and Melo has cooled off a bit and is also missing some games with injuries.

Obviously, Wade when he's right is an easy top 5 choice and better than Melo. Depends if people think Wade is right or not. I still think he got off to too slow of a start for me to give him the complete benefit of the doubt right now, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's back to as high as #3 at the end of the year.

I'm still sticking with Duncan.

Ugh, this hurts so much...switching my vote officially to Melo. He's been killing it this year, no amount of hate can make me deny that.

Let's move on to #5.

How is it NOT Kobe? I cant believe I am forced to defend the Kobiatch.

Yeah I can see the case for Melo, but Kobe is just playing at an incredible level. He still has all the faults we always talk about, but so does Melo, who's being masked a decent amount by the great role players and coaching around him.

Yeah, I actually do think Kobe should go now, but he doesn't have enough votes, so I'm going with Melo just to move on to the next thread, because this has been going for a while.

I've gained a lot of respect for Kobe this season, he's having his most efficient season somehow, and he's the main reason why the Lakers are even competing in these games...Howard has been a real disappointment imo, Gasol has been horrible, Nash has been injured, and they have NOBODY outside of those 4. MWP just blows as an offensive player, and his defense has been really overrated these past few years. He's not close to what he used to be, I think Gerald Wallace is a better defensive player by far at this point.

So if we're going to continue to be knee jerk, last night was bad for Melo.
