Cousins and Lopez will be super interesting. I hope Brook uses some finesse in his game tonight and makes Cousins look foolish on defense... or at least draw a lot of early fouls on the kid.

CJ watson being available is huge for this game. it hurt us having to go to brooks at PG yestarday against the wizards.

No. He is a much better option then having Taylor or Brooks running the point.

Ohhh so that's what CJ has been doing this season, "running the point"...

Watson was good early on when he was playing defense but he's really fallen off lately. Taylor has his own problems but I'd much prefer to run him at the point until Watson gets his head on straight.

hell no. in fact id be worried if he doesnt. we are a pretty bad offensive team with brooks or taylor running the point. and a pretty bad team on both ends with brooks on the floor in general

We're in a no win situation if Brooks is running the point.

He's so scared of making a mistake that when he's on the court the only thing is make the initial pass to start the play or force an ISO when no one is moving, so he feels the need to chuck.

The best possession he had last night was when he dribbled the length of the court in 4.8 sec and beat the halftime buzzer with a layup. He was at least assertive then.

He needs to go to a team where they're just trying to develop players rather than being super-concerned about winning.

Winning now is priority 1, 2, and 3 for us and we simply don't have the time to have MarShon play through his mistakes and learn what he can and cannot do in the NBA.

I like him as a person and I root for him but he's gotta go.

Winning and developing players are not mutually exclusive events. Brooks isn't a point guard so to expect him to competently run the point is comical, but what's the excuse for CJ?

I agree, but I was only talking about MarShon.

My point was the fact that the only burn he gets is at 2nd/3rd string PG and if that's all he's going to be able to do for us, he's gotta go.

Said nothing about CJ.

my point was, if CJ is out or backup options at PG are horrific. including brooks at the PG.

CJ isnt great, but subtantially better then both, especially in that role.

Brooks should never play. he has a monumentally bad negative impact. like a lose you games type of negative impact. he needs to go to an awful team to develop, he wont be able to do it on a winner. our best bet would be to let him get big minutes in the dleague, but that would likely hurt his trade value.

either way, hopefully he is gone in 3 weeks

Hello guys,

I am taking my niece to the game today but i had an important online meeting too at the same time. Does anyone know that Barclays Center has wifi even if i have to pay for it?

Also ticket prices are around $70 bucks at the moment. Is there any website that you can recommend to buy cheaper tickets? Also, is there anyone selling tickets around the center? Maybe i can get something cheaper when it gets closer to game time?

Thanks.

Free wifi throughout the stadium.

And cheaper tickets? *Looks at Massimo's sig*
Yeah, just go to Ticket Master or the Box Office, that way you get them at face value, not chea... err, I mean you won't have to overpay.

Stub Hub has tickets listed at $58

http://www.stubhub.com/brooklyn-nets-ti ... 3-4118641/

There's also the NBA ticket exchange:

http://www.ticketsnow.com/NBA/Inventory ... ID=1309560

I haven't ordered in a while so I don't remember / know if they hit you with other fees on top of that upon checkout.

(if you want to gamble you could wait until closer to tip-off and see if you can find some cheaper tickets then,)

Barclays Center is billed as having free WiFi, I haven't actually been there so I can't comment on how good it is.

The reviews that are out there seem to be positive so I think you should be fine.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing Taylor get some more mins over Watson. Hes a rookie PG so he's definitely going to make some mistakes but in the few mins he's played it looks like he's quick with the ball and a solid defender.. Plus i really don't like Watson.
