Atlanta is coming off the worse lost in franchise history. Let's see if we'll be facing Dr. Jekyl or Mr. Hyde... Regardless, we should keep the streak going.

We played Deron and JJ a ton of minutes last night, but Lopez only got 29 minutes. I think for this game, it might be alright to give Lopez 35+ minutes, and keep JJ and D-Will around the same mark. A little more balance, and it won't run D-Will and JJ into the ground. We need them to stay fresh for this stretch.

We've been living in the Atlanta area for almost a decade now. Won't be able to get to the game tonight but really looking forward to watching it on local TV. That's my only opportunity to follow them other than national Tellie (although I do live vicariously thru the game threads here on RealGM and listen often online).

Sure hope that they whup the Hawks. I don't want to hear about it on Atl Sports shows ('course then again, all they talk about down here 24/7 year round is football).

I didn't catch any of the Hawks vs. Bulls game, but all I have heard is how poorly Atlanta looked. I'm not sure we can expect that same effort from Atlanta tonight.. This game can go 1 or 2 ways for Atlanta, they can come firing on all cylinders, or they can crawl back into a crevice after their pitiful showing against Chicago. Either way it should be a good game.

Let's hope Josh Smith is in Chucker-Mode again. Let him take long jumpers all day and hope it's not the one game where he actually hits them that comes around every once in a while.

I'm sure PJ has emphasized that the start of this game is very important, especially considering the Hawks got blown out last game and will come out fired up. Hopefully we can match the intensity since we played last night and Deron played a ton of minutes. We should be able to win this, and I'm expecting us to!

And I don't see it as realistic at all with Atlanta having that pick swap option, they aren't going to do anything to lessen the chance that pans out.

If they are going to get a package similar to MarShon and 2 1sts, unless they are in love with Brooks, why not just take a similar package from another team?

He's an UFA so there won't be a huge bidding war, but someone will give up something decent.

Also, rumors and even direct quotes have shown him and JJ didn't really like each other anymore for a couple years anymore, I don't see a reunion.

Really? Wow, I never heard that but if this is true then that gives more reason not to trade for him.
