We should win this. We're at home, and they probably won't have Dwight.

The Lakers are officially listing him as a game-time decision and his recovery as day-to-day, but one source familiar with the situation said Howard will at least return Tuesday against the Brooklyn Nets.
“For sure, he will play in Brooklyn,” the source said.

Gasol will be a hard matchup for Lopez. It should be the key to the game.

Easy game vs a lottery team.
Should be a win.

We're still undefeated against below .500 teams. Hope that streak continues.

When Gasol gets to play Center he is much more dangerous. He is a true playmaker from the post and he might get Lopez into foul trouble with his post savy.

I expect plenty of PF Gasol going with Lopez again like he did in the LA game. Seemed like in LA the lakers let Howard roam about on defence and left Gasol on Lopez.
Howard it seems should be playing against us.

Lakers played well in their last few games so which mean this is a game we could very well lose if we show up with no effort AGAIN.

I dont know if anyone of you saw some recent nets articles on lack of identity but the times and nydaily news had some articles addressing some issues with the Nets:
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/01/sport ... nnets&_r=0http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baske ... -1.1254122Here is my take so far on the list of teams as far as championship contenders. Part of my list also takes into account Lakers current record and Celtics without Ronbdo and Sulliger out for the year
The way I see it...
Clear CutHEAT
THUNDER
SPURS
CHICAGO
In the mixKNICKS
NETS
NUGGETS
PACERS
Clippers
Solid regular season teams with little shot at the getting to the Finals & some flawsHAWKS
LAKERS
CELTICS
JAZZ
BLAZERS
BUCKS
ROCKETS
WARRIORS
Teams a piece away from making noise
WOLVES
ROCKETS
WARRIORS
Teams that think they are good but really aren't but are 1st or 2nd round exit teams
HAWKS
CELTICS
ROCKETS

i dont think we are in the mix, id put us in the next tier for sure. 1st round fodder. we simply dont play hard enough consistently and have no leadership. teams like that tend to get embarassed in the playoffs. i can see us being a 3 seed and losing in 5 games to like the bucks

Pau comes off the bench now, so he will be guarded by Blatche probably.

I think the last time we are above .500 was when we beat the Nets (we played without Nash). That was a long time ago.
Hope Dwight plays. We need him against Lopez.

w in here would be enormous... 2 very winnable games after that against detroit and washington before a very tough stretch:
Spurs - 0 chance to win
Pacers - we should win this for sure
Denver - going to be very tough
back to abck vs. the bucks - they own us.
we could easily be looking at 1-4 for that spurt. these next 3 are critical

The hardest game in that stretch in my opinion is the Pacers. We had real serious problems with them at the Barclays Center and they are playing even better now.
Spurs are minus Duncan so as bad as we played they are very good but not as good as they could be with Duncan playing. Bucks are a nightmare for us because they have quick guards which is our achilles heel so we need to play hard to even have a chance of beating them.
I'm going to be optimistic and say we are going to finish this stretch 4-2 with the Lakers game included there.

i disagree on both fronts... we played pretty bad when we played them were down 12, and still beat them pretty handily. pacers are a complete fraud team in my opinon. im a big fan of george, but overall i think they are a vastly overrated team that we should beat even with the crap effort we have been putting out.

i wouldnt take us over the spurs if duncan, parker, and ginobili were out. their entire team executes perfectly on offense, and they run a ton of pick and roll. they will destroy us again. i can see us beating the bucks, but they always give us trouble
